Took some groceries to Mom and found her in a better frame of mind than I've seen in a long time.

Was she having a martini?

Apologies for being away.  Am doing two, count 'em TWO, full-time jobs and am tuckered completely out.  It may get worse before it gets better.  But...what the hey!

Heigh Ho!

You have been in my thoughts, Ron.

Better yet - she was ironing.

I need a good gluten free, fruit free something to bake for a member in my book group.

Gluten free and fruit free?  Oh Hell, just hand her a bag of sugar.

Back from the designer run - rough, but the show is there and while act one ran about nine minutes longer than I want it to, when it's all tightened it will be fine.  But even with that, the show clocked in at exactly two hours, which is perfect.

Then, on the way home, I was conversing and heard something so outrageous and heinous that I really lost it.  It has something to do with the other business, for which you are sending continued super-strength vibes - but this, as an adjunct, just sent me over the edge because it was so disgusting.  I wish I could go into detail and when this is all said and done, you can bet your sweet bippy I will, but what was involved today was shut down so fast that it was definitely a point in my favor in a major way.

I can't remember the last time I had yellow cake with chocolate frosting.

It really is one of my favorites.  It's simple, but I love it

I was so angry - I think the person I was talking to who told me about it was rather shocked.  It took me a full hour to calm down - some good folks talked sense into me because I was so mad that I was going to do some things that wouldn't have probably been good.  They calmed me down, and while I'm still fuming, I'll get in the shower and was this crap down the drain and just go on doing my work.  We'll see how it all plays out, but in the end I am telling this story in all its gory details.  With names.
