Now, it's time for me to leave and go to the Vaudeville!

Be back later.

Cool!  I can't wait...but I must.

It's been censored with beeps. "And it's filled with people who are filled with Beep."

TOD - no TV or DVDs for us tonight because we're taking Rob and Mary Linda to our local community theatre to see Side by Side by Sondheim.  I'm hoping for the best...

Cool!  I'd love to see a production of this.

That may have been the first national tour I ever saw. Hermione Gingold was in it. She sang "I Never Do Anything Twice." I remember it well.

It warms my heart to know that you remember still the way you do

In this day and age, it's ridiculous. You post beforehand, "some language and content may be too strong for some viewers" or don't show the fuckin piece of shit.

Then why didn't PBS ask Steve to write a replacement line or something? I watch tv and I listen to discussions of penises, vaginas, masturbation, and it's all on TV befpre 9:00PM; we get "bullshit" on MAJOR CRIMES and RIZZOLI & ISLES, but Bryn Terfel in a masterpiece cannot sing the word "Shit"?

Bullshit!

We had a big family dinner for Rosh Hashanah.  So much yummy food.  Potato knishes.  Bean and barley soup with meat (this is one of my absolute favorite homemade soups).  Brisket.  Bean salad.  Brownies. Yum.

We have returned from SIDE BY SIDE BY SONDHEIM, which was not nearly the turkey it could have been.

You can enjoy the other 99.9% of it or let a couple of "bleeps" ruin  the entire show for you --- I prefer half full glasses myself darlin'   :-*

Hopefully, it'll actually be released on DVD/Blu-ray which won't have to be bleeped.

I'm home and watching...and recording!  The vaudeville show was only about an hour an a half, so even driving through Taco Bell, I got home in plenty of time!

Bleeped or not, I'd love a bleeping copy, George.

So far, I haven't noticed any mention of Hugh Wheeler.

Hmm. :P

I never have a problem with non-traditional casting, but when it affects a kind of "twist," I don't know...sometimes you need to give it a second thought. ::)
