It may be hot here but I'm sure glad I'm not in Ashland where it is 106 degrees, smokey and covered in ashes.  I don't know what fire/fires it is coming from.


Maybe Mt. Ashland erupted.

Elmer Gantry the opera - accessible Americana at times nice, but too many faux hymns.

How does it compare to Gantry! with Robert Shaw and Rita Moreno? Or was that merely Gantry with no exclamation point?

This Gantry got better towards the end of its first act and act two is excellent so far.

Starting to watch Cheyenne Autumn. Don't think I'll be able to finish it tonight. Some of it is very familiar, especially Carroll Baker as a Quaker. I must have seen it when I was a child.

I've never heard the Broadway Gantry.
