I am really craving pie, pumpkin, apple, or pecan.  Really badly.  I guess when my pension lands on Thursday there will be a trek to the Little Pie Co.

I have some lemon meringue pie in the fridge if you want to drop by.

That sound delicious.   It is hard to find good lemon meringue pie.

And it seemed odd to call the movie "In the Good Old Summertime" when the last half hour takes place at Christmas.

;D

I never thought of that.

I am reading "Moonglow " by Michael Chabon.   I need to make some progress as I have two more books checked out from the library.

I had some complete idiot order three CDs today.  Only he accidentally ordered two of one of them for a total of four CDs.  He sends an e-mail saying WE charged him for two copies of the one CD as if it were OUR fault.  We don't charge anything - we have nothing to do and if some idiot puts two copies of a CD in the cart then guess what - they charge for two copies - by "they" I mean Paypal.  Then before I even read that e-mail he sends another saying I need to cancel the entire order and refund him his money because - wait for it - he looked in his collection and found he had the CDs he ordered.  I refunded him and suggested he shop elsewhere from now on - so that's a hundred bucks I had for about two hours that I no longer have.  People.  Can't live with 'em, can't live with 'em.

What a dolt!  What a maroon! ;)

Oh, my.  First Florence, then Fidel.  Who'll be the third?

Got two-thirds of the commentary done, so that's good and I can easily finish that up tomorrow.  And finishing the fourth piano concerto - these are all wonderful.  Number five coming up in a few minutes.

Wow, Fidel Castro finally died.  He was 90.

Interesting...his IMDb listing and the CNN article say that he was born in 1926, but one of the local news reports said that he was born in 1929, which would've made him 87 years old.  I would assume that the local news report had a typo.

It was a typo.  The announcer said on the local report that Castro was 90 years old, and on their website, they have 1926-2016 in their display graphics.  Someone hasn't been paying attention.

TCB - Does the multi-opening night explain why a critic was at your rehearsal?

That was the reason given.

When I came on stage in the dark to start the second act, one whole section of the audience nearest me, booed and hissed.  I loved it.
