Well we have pretty much had the week from hell, due to tech stress, which is a term Betsy and I are trademarking.

On top of the DirectTV install, the new cell phones not working, our landlines getting shut off (thanks Qwest), and the DSL installation, it has been very stressful.
Add to that (as I emailed to JR), I have been indefinitely banned from editing at Wikipedia. You heard it here first, DRs. Why, you may ask? Because I had the audacity to correct repeated mistakes made to the Farmer article there made by an "Admin," who is evidently a 20-something Swiss woman who has determined she is the world's expert on the subject, which is fine, if only she would stop making so many stupid mistakes. Add to that that she then wholesale cribbed large sections of my "Shedding Light" article, which violates Wikipedia's Fair Use doctrine, that I warned her to stop and she then claimed I was threatening her. Believe it or don't she went on to insist I was not Jeffrey Kauffman, had not written the article, and then went on to cite another article which cites
my article. Are ya with me, chillun?
So's anyway, I'm going to go scream underneath the train tracks (a reference I'm sure you all know

).
By the by, BK, I didn't find the LA Weekly review nasty or malevolent, and there are some pullable quotes if you do a little judicious editing. Remember those Mad magazine movie quotes that, in their entirety, were complete pans, but then they would edit them to only have superlative adjectives for the display ads?
