Vixmom, did you go and break into the Post Office today to see if they had any mail of yours that they hadn't delivered?

DR TCB, that white noise youtube video IS NOT what the machine sounds like.  It is much less staticy. IT is actually very pleasant.  I listened to a few youtube videos to try to find one that matched the machine i have. But they were all off. It really does sound like a loud soothing fan.

I think, Jennifer, I may go and track one down at a store this week and see what it sounds like in the flesh (so to speak).

Bad allergy-related headache tonight. So, I'm off to bed early.

Good night, all.

This is the one I have:

http://www.amazon.com/Marpac-Dohm-DS-Speed-Sound-Conditioner/dp/B000KUHFGM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1377486319&sr=8-1&keywords=marpac+dohm-ds+dual+speed+sound+conditioner

I think many white noise machines also have other options (like nature sounds ...). I decided I just wanted one with white noise. And I love it!

I don't have any white noise.  I have some green noise, though.

I said, get me off this damn page.  We're not on hiatus, you know.  It's barely nine, no posts in forty-five minutes.

We have time for a two-hour frenzy.  At this point I'd take a ten-second frenzy.

As Kershaw, the cop, I'm just wearing black pants, a blue shirt, a tie and sunglasses.  I want to do a bit where I take off the sunglasses and have another pair of sunglasses underneath!  And then a little later, do that AGAIN with a third pair of sunglasses!  I just need to see if I can find a big pair that fit over my middle-sized sunglasses more easily.  They need to be less obvious.  We'll see if it all works. :D

Today's rehearsal went quite well...not perfect, but well.  And for the most part, the sunglasses bit worked!  When I asked the other night if I could do a "bit," I didn't tell him what I wanted to do so that he would be surprised...and he was!

But he said that I should take off the last pair of sunglasses (funny comes in threes, you know) instead of leaving them on, which is what I did today.  I don't think that I should NOT have sunglasses on, so I actually bought a FOURTH pair of sunglasses.  I think that that would be VERY funny, but four pairs of glasses might just be too much on my face and be much too obvious.

I haven't taken rehearsal photos.  Maybe I can take some tomorrow.  It'll be the last night without an audience.
