A beautiful spring day today.  Apparently Washington State is trying to impress Jane and Keith with warm weather.

Healing vibes to DR Dan.

Thank you Tomas. Weds is testing day. Fasting blood work, EKG and an exam by the cardiologist. If all goes well, clears the path for my surgery.

And, thank you always for your support!

George, I did it using the same thing I sent you (different code, though) and it worked fine - be sure you're putting in that exact number with the five zeroes.  Otherwise I can send you another code.  Or were you able to get to the download part and then it didn't work.  I got it into iBooks on my iPad just fine.

I copied the code directly, so I wouldn't make a mistake in retyping the code.  Otherwise, I was able to download it onto my Kindle with no problem.  That process worked, but when I opened it up, I got the title at the top of the screen, and the progress bar at the bottom saying I was at 5%, and the rest of the screen where the text should be was completely blank.  I couldn't page forward or back.  After about 10 seconds or so, it would kick me out to my list of book titles with this error message:
Quote
The selected item could not be opened. If you purchased this item from Amazon, delete the item and redownload it from Archived Items available in Home. (close)

I would click on the "close" button, the message would go away, and that would be it.  I tried deleting the file and I redownloaded it, but it did the same thing.  I am just about to send a message to them in their "Contact Us" page with the same information.

Yes, let them know what's happening.  It did go into iBooks without a problem.

I wonder if the file will work on my Samsung tablet.  I have the Kindle app.  I'll try that.

Well, I could read it on my computer through my desktop Kindle app, but the Kindle app on my tablet wouldn't recognize the file extension.

I think I'll just have to wait to find out what the publisher says. :-\
