I remember sitting with Mr. Knotts and Mr. Conway at lunch, but don't really remember anything beyond that.  The person I really liked was John McGiver.

Phyllis, Dorothy and Christine.
Some of us are more friendly with Dorothy.
How strange is the wonderful Anthology 2cd - it doesn't have "Sugartime Twist"!

As I am sure Jose knows, it's Capitol, with an "o"!

BK, I would assume there are still some more celebs to be added to the list...it's still almost a month away.

Darn it.

One report is that HERCULES has been cut from a 4-hour two-night mini series to a 3-hour one night presentation on May 23?  grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Yes, Jrand54, it is true!  HERCULES in its initial airing  on NBC will be in one-three-hour showing.  This was done, to my understanding, for programming reasons.  There will be a four-hour version that will air, I'm told, later on USA or Sci-fi and may also have another screening on NBC in the summer that will be four-hour.  The DVD will be four-hour and everywhere else in the world it will show as a four-hour.  I've seen neither the three or four hour version yet.

Good Afternoon!

Back from sound check... Felt very good.  Once I make it through tonight's show, then I can relax a little.  My "new-to-me" book has a few exposed sections, so...

Still a gorgeous summer-like day here in Memphis.  I had lunch at "Memphis Grits" - a good ole "meat and three".  Today I had catfish with fried okra, mac 'n' cheese and turnip greens.  And sweet tea, of course!  YUMMY!  And tomorrow I shall have... ;)

DR Jane - My roomie did not have to find a replacement for me in order for him to stay.  The lease is up May 1, so...  He was originally on planning on finding a new place, but I guess he couldn't find anything in his price range (for himself).  So...

-And I just browsed today at The Peanut Shoppe.  Tomorrow, tomorrow...  -When I walked in today, the owner was fry-roasting almonds.  They looked like small pieces of carved teak wood.  And they smelled wonderful!

DR MBarnum - Yep, I'm in Memphis starting my two-week road stint with Mamma Mia!.

There are some new faces in the pit and on the stage.  And I found myself looking at a couple of the new faces bit more than usual during sound check...

;D

And, I predict that The Rhythm of Life will soon have its original arrangement back.  What am I, Criswell all of a sudden?
