I wasn't quick enough to claim the Page 8 Dance!  I just won this magazine from eBay and was going to make it the Page 8 Dance. (I added the green bars since this is a family site ;)):

The inspiration, perhaps, for the cover of Jason Graae's first CD?

The day that issue came out was one of the giddiest I can remember.  I'd been reading Films and Filming for years, so imagine my surprise when I went to the Las Palmas newstand to get the latest issue and my eyes saw that cover.  Wow, said I!

I swear, my voice box just doesn't seem to want to operate the way I want it to and the way I would have hoped after this second shot.  But, you know what - I think ninety percent of it is in my head, since the only other time in the last five years that this has happened (including visits to the doctor) were for the LAST Guy Haines album.  I'm just gonna hope for the best, that's all I can do, really, so keep those excellent vibes and xylophones coming this way through the end of next Tuesday.

That doesn't look like the choreography John Smithee was trying to learn them.

Der Brucer has the television in the kitchen tuned to one station carrying the President's press conference, and the set in the livingroom tuned to another station carrying the same press conference.  Interesting, because the sound is slightly out of synch between the two stations.

The President is on a five-second delay?   :o

I am making a tape, so the President isn't on my TV!  I hope there isn't a war being declared, and I am watching Ed Sullivan.

I've been trying to watch The Front with Woody Allen, but I just can't get into it tonight.  My mind keeps drifting...

Nope, I had no idea we'd be on the cover or have a huge photo spread inside.  Total surprise to me.

Ron I must show that cartoon to Keith. ;D
I couldn’t retrieve the story off of the Guardian site.

Jennifer thanks for the link.  I found it interesting.  Is that the same restaurant you normally go to for ribs?

DR Jane - I'm not feeling sideways... just felt like changing things up.  I may go ahead and change it back later tonight.  *I also uploaded a couple of other "options" last week, so...

Stay tuned!

I thought maybe you were exhausted from all the packing or contemplating your big move and the changes it might bring.

Thanks for posting that LIFE magazine cover, DR JRand. Looks like her outfit from "This Heart of Mine" in ZIEGFELD FOLLIES.

When I got in from rehearsal, I had the DVR show JOEY, but, of course, it was someone even more lame-brained than poor Joey - our President. The recording (and WILL & GRACE) was instantly deleted.

I did get to see CSI "live" at 10, so all was not lost.

Before CSI started, I watched thirty minutes of HUSH, HUSH SWEET CHARLOTTE on FMC. Still entertaining after all these years.

With three days off from rehearsal, I have some serious DVD watching to make up for. I know LOVE ME OR LEAVE ME will come first, and probably JUMBO right after. Then, from the to-watch shelf, I took out ASSASSINS, no, not the Sondheim masterpiece but the Sylvester Stallone/Antonio Bandaras thriller.

I watched last night's Alias.  I'm afraid this show is now entering hopeless territory.  They do this big Joel Grey thing, and then completely drop it in tonight's episode.  Gone.  Not even mentioned.  Maybe he'll be back, maybe he won't.  Now we get another "surprise" in the last minute  of the show - and a completely predictable one.  I think last night's episode, unfortunately, is a harbinger of what's to come.  The giddiness of this show has been replaced by desperation, it seems to me.

MattH, I know it isn't Ask BK Day, so I will ask you instead.  I am curious about your Cagelles in your production of La Cage.  Are you using all men, a mixture of men and women, and if only men, are they gay or straight men?

Took my steaming shower early tonight - also drank my final EmergenC of the day early.  I think it's been causing me to not fall asleep quickly when I drink it too close to bedtime.
