I'm glad for the photos because I've worked with Curtis for four years on this musical theatre project, and I'v never had a photo of him. I think we're long-lost relatives. I like Tom, but I don't know him well, and Curtis' writing partner Matthew Brookshire is one of the most talented people I know.

Trivia (and where else could you find trivia about Mizer and Moore): Tom Mizer played Steve (named after the star of the TV show, whose name actually was Steve) in the phenomenally successful Blue's Clue's tour not that many years ago. When the show played Radio City, Mizer's face loomed over Times Square for several weeks, IIRC.

AH!!!! That's where I know Tom's face from!!!! I remember him from the promotional materials for the Blue's Clues tour/show when Disney was hosting a production down at Disneyworld. *And there were actually some nice songs in that show - and I still regret not making copies of the audition materials from that round of auditions.

Had a nice evening out with my NYC traveling companions. We went to a Mexican restaurant here in town called Salsa. I ate way too much. I usually have my major meal in the early afternoon and either don't eat at night or eat lightly, but knowing we were all having a bon voyage dinner tonight, I had just a snack for lunch.

We came back to my friend's house and had Cookies 'N Cream ice cream for dessert.

Hope all that food doesn't keep me awake tonight.

After dessert, we went up to my friend's home theater I helped install back in January, and we watched PHONE BOOTH. Neither of my traveling companions had seen it, and even though I had, I enjoyed seeing it again.

Hopefully, our sojourn in NYC will be a little less frenzied than Mr. Farrell's in the film.

Actually, Oakland was rather pleasant all day. I slept the better part of the afternoon away.

Many thanks to all and sundry (or sunmoist) for the vibes today.

Am feeling better. I've even watched a couple of Disney films on DVD...."Toby Tyler," which retains all the charms I remember from seeing it as a boy in its first theatrical release. It still brings tears.

And then "Summer Magic" which is a pleasant bit of fun with pleasant songs and a lovely old house you couldn't buy today for under $1 million in some parts of the country (under $2 million in a few "prestige" locations), but which Hayley's family were renting for $60/year.

Ah, the 1960s! (or, in the movie, those "ragtime" years).

Ain't the movies grand!!???

Well... Not really... Since peanut butter is a plant derived food, it does not - and can not - contain any cholesterol. Cholesterol is only found in animal tissue. So, unless Skippy starts adding bacon fat to their line of products...
