Thank you Ron

And of course we know that Jose works for Amazon and is to blame.

I've suspected as much for quite some time.

In fact, someone ought to write a musical...

Call it "Blame it on Jose"!

Geez, this has been a chatty day.

It's been pretty busy at work and I'm only caught up to page 6.

Those were great pictures, Hisaka!!  Thanks for posting them!

As for the Topic of the Day (Media check):

Nothing anywhere. ::) Actually, I do have some taped shows that I need to watch, and one movie from Netflix, Friends and Family.  It's a comedy about two men who are a couple and the parents of one are coming for a surprise visit.  The parents know that the two guys are a couple, but what they don't know is that the guys are hit men for the mob!  Beth Fowler plays the mother and Anna Maria Alberghetti plays the mob boss' wife.  I've watched the first 20 minutes or so, and it's really cute..as are the leads. ;) I can't wait to watch the rest of it. ;D

With sincerest apologies to fans/friends of "I Do! I Do!"

No apologies necessary. I LOVE the show and I like that song very much.

My favorite song in the score is "What Is a Woman?"

And now, due to the day being Friday, the kitchen floor requires attention. Afterwards, there will be SPARTACUS (I'll see it enhanced for widescreen TVs for the first time!) and then last night's NIGHT STALKER.

I think I will have an AIRPORT - 75, 77, 79 evening tonight!  And maybe follow them with THE CROWDED SKY, THE HIGH AND THE MIGHTY, and JULIE!

The skies are awash with danger tonight.

Honey, I'm home!  Well, at least I'm back in the city and at the hotel.

I really enjoyed the train ride out and back.  I saw some lovely leaf colors along the way and real mountains!  Wow!

On the train ride home I got a call from DR Ginny.  She wanted to let everyone know she made to Atlanta safe and sound but her flight was delayed two hours.  Oy!

I didn't get the chance to tell you about the lady who fell down next to me crossing Broadway to see Fiddler last night.  Poor lady.  I hope that she is ok.

I'm heading up to the room now. I didn't know if the computer would work or not in my room (sometimes it does and sometimes it won't)  so I stopped off at the media center of the hotel.

Laters!

DR George -  Re FRIENDS AND FAMILY:  There's a song sung by a singer at a banquet about an hour into the movie called "You Can't Surprise Me" sung by Elisa Heinsohn of TV's FAME fame.  Skip wrote that song. (He was using the name Walter Edgar Kennon in those days; he's back to Skip Kennon on LAST STARFIGHTER.)

The movie got a lot of play on the film festival circuit (Variety even named the screenwriter one of the 10 Screenwriters to Watch one year based on this screenplay), got a lot of good reviews and several awards, but unfortunately was dinged by the L.A. Times and NY Times.  C'est la vie.

Hmmm, DR RLP, I've never emailed them as a "customer comment".  I've always gone to the help/customer service page and clicked on changing or placing an order.  Then I've clicked on  "i have a question that is not listed above" and then i send them an email.  Is it possible that you are writing to the wrong place?

At this rate, we may reach our new plateau TONIGHT!!!

Just another 200 postings or so.

I must shortly be on my way to rehearse with Mr. Kevin Spirtas, and then to sup with Miss Barbara Deutsch.  I may have other news by the time I get back.

I did get the sparkling something-or-others that will be going to the first fifty book buyers, so that's good.  I will ask that no one, other than saying you like the sparkling something-or-others, will discuss what they actually are. :-)

RE:  JANE EYRE.

I saw it on Broadway and loved it.  But I would imagine a lot of the appeal would depend on who is playing Jane.  Please tell us all about it.

Media check:

And let's not forget the DVR:

Last episodes of ERing (watched earlier: S Woody was on the computer whill I watched and he called out "Is that a Brukheimer show?"  "Yes, I replied, how'd you know". "The music sounds like what he'd use!".) and Medium to watch later.

The DVR reminds me of Hard Disc Drives - when you first buy a computer you think - "Thre is no way I could fill up xxGigaBytes" - then you find out how easy it is.

The DVR has a 60 hour capacity - which I thought would take forever to reach - and I'm alredy erasing to make space!

And tonight I'll have to record Threshold (will miss the start by picking up SWW after work at nine) and "Law and Order", so I can watch "Numb3rs".

Oh God - I'm turning into MattH (where's the Pledge) :D

The Pledge is actually sitting on my brand new used bar in the basement!  I got this really great double barrel bar this morning from my cousin. It's not an antique, but, it's so old that when he bought it, along with the two barstools, it was only $200.00!  Maybe a photo will follow, maybe not.  Must Pledge it first.

All right, Jennifer!

I found the way to e-mail.  I wrote a very polite, measured e-mail.

Perhaps I'll finally hear something back.  The other place, however, is a bottomless pit from which nothing ever returns.

Of course, Jason probably knows that my customer comments will be common knowledge by now and that my e-mail will just be sauce for my cooked goose!
