It is raining now and I am sure it is going to continue to rain for the next several days.

Depending on the weather I might drive up to Jupiter, FL and the former Burt Reynolds theater to see the matinee of Betty Buckley. There is also Sandy Stewart at the Colony in Palm Beach in the evening.

Windy, cold and rainy!

(Saw an "old" recording on a Japanese cd of Sandy Stewart yesterday at our Virgin Megastore on the Champs Elysées!)

Who knows, you may have attended the same Sweeney Todd performance as Tomovoz in 1980?!

Matt H thanks.  I was sure “Commander in Chief” was a hit.  So far “How I Met Your Mother” makes us laugh.  Still haven’t seen Chris or “Criminal Minds”

What is the show that replaced “Trial by Jury”?

Well, no new window on the car yet. The guys came out and vacuumed up the glass pieces and took apart the door but found they had the wrong window for my car. They brought the one that the computer at the shop told them was correct...but, alas, it was not.

So the correct one is one order, which will take 3 to 5 business days...I am expecting that by next Friday I should have a window in my rear passenger side.

Back for a mo, but must shower and get ready for opening night.

I'm here to tell you that Mr. Stephen Sondheim never set one note to paper for Sunset Blvd.  Total BS.

Is this something kinky in "special interest" Oregon venues?

Windy, cold and rainy!

The weather in November sounds just like what we experienced in April.  Not the "April in Paris" we had expected. ;D

My first day there was the last day of a heat wave and then the rain, cold and wind arrived.

And my Bollywood movie for the weekend will be....

TULSI VIVAH (1971). This is the story of Lord Shiva's fury of Lord Indira's three worlds...in other words, gods and demons will be duking it out in the mythological treat starring former wrestler Dara Singh.

It was a beautiful afternoon so we decided to sit on the deck before dinner to enjoy the view along with some wine, cheese and crackers.  So off I went to the market for the cheese.  The market is conveniently located in the same very mini-strip mall as my cleaners.  In-between the two stores I spied a little dog just sitting in front of the pizza restaurant.

Dogs waiting outside of stores are very common in Ashland so I didn’t pay much attention at first.  Another woman was concerned and checked the dog’s collar.  Not finding a tag aside from a license she went home.  Now I thought I guess I should just pop into the pizza place & see if someone claims the dog, no one did.  Then I checked her tag again & found a phone number taped to the back of her tag.  Turns out Gracie opened the door to her house and took herself down to her favorite place to beg for pizza (which someone was nice enough to provide her with).  I waited with Gracie until her father arrived to pick her up.

Well, I frequently do that myself: leave my place, go and beg for Pizza!
Does it work? NO! And noone checks my tag either!
Oh, cruel world! :D

At the time of SWEENEY TODD, all the magazines as the press were circulating the SUNSET BLVD rumors. . .still, if you listen to CAROUSEL's soundtrack recording, or as I did, listen to the dvd, you'll hear Marni singing Julie's lines. . .who can explain it, who can tell you why?  Maybe Shirley was unavailable for a re-loop, while Marni was available. . .
