MOVING RIGHT ALONG
« on: October 21, 2005, 12:23:47 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, you've moved right along, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - don't worry, they're moving right along.

Gee, I hurried to get the notes up, and now there's no one in the jernt here, except me and me.  Yes, it's one for my baby, and one more for the road.

One thing I wanted to say about the anniversary of Black Saturday - I never thought I'd say that good could have come out of that sorry day, but it did - the idea for this here site was born and I put Mr. Mark Bakalor on it right then and he created what would become a wonderful site, perhaps the most wonderful site on all the Internet - an Internet family and community like no other.

Pogue is here.  He has nothing to say.  No DVDs in the DVD player.  No CDs in the CD player.  I am currently listening to WMKV...Fred Astaire singing A Fine Romance.

Well, what's better than Fred Astaire singing A Fine Romance?  Not much.

Sandra is also here - Sandra, would you care to do the Lambada (The Forbidden Dance) with me and Pogue?  We're dangerous, but we're cherce.

The Lambada with you and Pogue, huh? That's pretty tempting, but I'm about to go to sleep. I'm done with this paper (finally!) and DC (Dear Cat) Tumbly, alias Lloyd, is all ready to curl up on my face and go to sleep.

Well, here I am at 3:38 in the am. My car alarm just went off, waking me and Freddy out of our deep slumber. I scared off the burglars and now I must wait until daylight so that I can clean up the broken glass and call the insurance company....yes, someone broke into my car!!!!  >:(

I am not a happy camper right now, and I want the death penalty to be applied.

Thankfully, nothing was stolen it looks like. When the alarm went off I flew out of bed and turned on all of the lights which must have scared them off.

Wow, an example of a car alarm actually working! A rare occurence here in NY where they go off is someone walks by a car too quickly.

I don't mean to make light of your trouble, Michael. I'm glad you were able to scare off the blagards before they either stole the car or did more damage.

I wondered what you were doing up at this hour (in Oregon time).

I have nothing on and nothing in. We are going to the Big Apple Circus tonight and a friend's housewarming tomorrow. Tomorrow is also the last day of the official overtime season here at work. We wind down from then to the end of November (for me, anyway). I will then be on vacation from November 29th through January 1st. Hoo and Ray! I'll do my usual volunteering with the Stephen J. Falat Holiday Basket Project (an Actors Equity/Broadway Cares sponsored initiative to give gift bags to people with AIDS) and then we are off to Dublin for two weeks. We leave on December 16 and return on December 31. Sorry, Antonia/TPunk, we will be in Dublin on December 18, so we can't join you for the rip on Mattress.

I see piles of work on my desk and I'm all alone here so later, gaters.

Good morning, all!  This is another long day:  post office, recording office, Horace Mann School at 3:30 to see goddaughter Charlotte in Durang one-acts, and then perhaps a movei with my friend Tara, who wants to see THE FOG.  The movie is tentative since she hasn't confirmed it yet.

I will check in later!

Matt H - I missed the beginning of CSI last night, where were they?  Why didn't they have access to their regular lab?  It was good but there were some odd things, like that conversaton Nick had with  Sage... she said her bit but seemed to leave out something vital... like what are all you people doing here and what happened to my friend I came to see?

Good morning!

Beautiful day #857,549 here in Carolina. High today is supposed to be 81 but it's in the high 60s right now and my walk was very enjoyable.

But this is probably the last hurrah for summer. From the looks of the five day forecast, we're entering a definite downturn in temperatures for both highs and lows. About time, I say!

Thank you, DR Ron, for the views on last night's CSI. I will watch this while prepping lunch today.

And I agree with you about George Eads. It was a crime was wasn't Emmy-nominated last year, especially giving that harrowing performance buried alive in the season finale. Looking forward to seeing what he offered up last night.

DR MBarnum: I'm so sorry to hear about your car woes. Someone broke into my car when I was in college - they threw a brick through the back passenger window. They got my portable CD player and 25 of my favorite musicals. I'm sure they were disappointed when they opened up the CD case and found LES MISERABLES and EVITA. The worst part was, they broke in at 2 in the morning while I was helping to paint the set for LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS just half a block away. I had a very chilly 45 minute drive home that night! I was horribly disappointed to lose those CDs, but more than that, I felt very violated.

I'm glad you scared them off before they got anything of value.

DR JOEY break a leg tonight in SWEENEY TODD....good vibes to you and the rest of the CAST.  I am sure the audience will love it.  ST was done earlier this month at DePauw to great huzzahs!

DR MBARNUM I am so sorry to hear about your car.  What a nuisance and violation.

This seems to be the week for car mishaps on HHW....so everyone should be careful.

DR MATTH - I watched SMALLVILLE last night and will only say that Aquaman was NOT chosen for his acting ability which is neglible to be kind.

Another wish for lots of broken limbs for DR Joey on his SWEENEY TODD opening tonight.

One of these days, I'll get to play Judge Turpin. I've auditioned twice and both times was told I was too young looking. I thought that's what MAKEUP was for!

Horrified to read your news, DR MBarnum. Nothing makes me madder than a thief. We all work (worked) hard for the money we have, and to have someone take what WE'vE worked so hard for just makes my blood boil.
