Good Afternoon!

So...  I left The Palace Theatre around 10:45 Saturday night... Then drove down to DC...  I dropped a friend off who was making the drive down with me...  Then I went ahead and decided to go ahead and make the rest of the drive down to Richmond that night/morning...  I called my friend, Mike - he's a night manager for a hotel - and was able to crash at his place, so...  I drove down to Richmond... Got in around 6:00am...  Ended up sleeping until 4:30 Sunday afternoon...  Headed over to Steve's for some dinner...  Stayed over at Steve's last night...  Headed back up to Fairfax this morning...  Made a stop at my storage unit... Made a stop at IKEA...  And about an hour ago, I met my new niece, Emily Juliet!  :)

-And the weather has been glorious for my two days off so far too!  -Of course, I practically slept through most of yesterday...  ;)

Well, I'm actually in the midst of babysitting - Emily is sleeping right now, so...

I hope everyone is doing well.  VIBES to those who need them.  I should be getting back to my quasi-normal routine of reading and posting and sitting there like so much fish as the week progresses.

Hi![/b]

Laters...

Has anyone ever had coffee ice cream?

I've had mocha ice cream, but not specifically "coffee" (only) ice cream.

Where's my little green bottle of Doan's Pills?

A wise choice!

And now I'm heading downstairs to do the usual cleaning and then watch THE SOPRANOS. Will continue with BROTHERS GRIMM in whatever time I have remaining before HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER begins.

OHIO - So Much to Discover!

DH Richard and I just returned from an afternoon of errands.  Soon I will begin preparing our dinner of bacon-wrapped filet mignon, baked potatoes, and salad.

DR Jose was here - sorry I missed him!

I've gotten a great desire to watch THE WONDRFUL WORLD OF THE BROTHERS GRIMM. I recorded the movie off TCM a couple of years ago, but I have no idea how it will look on the larger screen TV.

Surely you, of all people, will show it on your own home Cinerama Home Theatre set up ::)

I posted the message and went back to work (no, really, I did!) and I didn't even preview my message.  I just now realized what I wrote.  Ooops!!  NAP...not nape.  But you all knew this...this is HHW!! ;D

Of course, jokes are always funnier if you don't screw them up. ::)

TOTD: I think substituting ice-cream  for any or all ingredients in a dessert recipe would work for me.

I'd even substitute ice-cream for chocolate.

This may explain why I too am height challenged!

Good to see DR's Michael S and Jose back.

Now where are DR's JMK, Jason and td.

DR Jed has been very quiet of late too. DR Ann has at least been seen lurking.

Well I enjoyed the movie CASANOVA - some fine performances, lovely scenery (CGI of course), lovely costumes, and nice music by Alexandre Desplat.

Some nifty dialog courtesy co-writer Jeffrey Hatcher.

BUT for a movie called CASANOVA, there wasn't much

Minnesota is the North Star State or Land of a 10,000 Lakes....  It is also called a few other things depending on the time of the year. Acutally Minnesota has over 11,000 lakes.
