Back from the editing room - the video has now been uprezzed, which took about three hours.  That's all he could get done today, so tomorrow he finishes letterboxing everything.  At noon, I do the audio session with a proper audio guy, and I know I'll be much happier with things after that's done.  Then, all that's left to do is the audio layback onto the video and to color correct a few scenes - then we're done, probably by Wednesday or Thursday.

Am thinking about taking a quick jog now, so I'm in the proper mode for the play reading (the play opens with a middle-aged Jew getting back from jogging).

Fred, thank you very much for including me in the refuah shelaymah.  I really appreciate all the prayers I can get.  Actually, the Methodists are a lot like Jews, except we Methodists are under the impression that the louder we sing the better we sound.

Has anyone ever had coffee ice cream?
Yes.

It was officially 99F here in Phoenix in the Grand Canyon State. One more degree and I would have turned on the air conditioner for the season. Maybe tomorrow.

When we have coffee ice cream in stock, it sells pretty quick, no matter who makes it.  Then we get complaints from the people who didn't get into the store in time to get them their coffee ice cream.

Coffee ice-cream  NEVER!
I drink and enjoy coffee but do not care for it as a flavouring in chocolates, cakes or whatever.

DD TCB (and others), DP Colin and I light a candle at the dinner table some nights. It is burning for those who need support and love. It focuses our thoughts and we don't light it every night as it then becomes somehow less potent.  I have a good friend in London who does the same.  Knowing that candle has been burning for me at times has been very beneficial.

I work with a woman who told me a couple of weeks ago that she's never had cooked pudding...ever!  How can that be?  She's probably 45 years old or so and she's only had instant pudding in all of her life!  I said get some and cook some NOW!!

I prefer instant pudding.

Did you stay home in protest of proposed immigration laws or in sympathy for RLP's back problem?

JRand55, UNWED MOTHER and TOO SOON TO LOVE are on a double feature DVD that was released by VCI last week. Also released was PORTLAND EXPOSE and THEY WERE SO YOUNG...some nifty Allied Artists' B films!!

Half the cast of SORORITY GIRL shows up in UNWED MOTHER and I noticed Superboy John Rockwell in the credits of TOO SOON TO LOVE. Now that should make anyone want to rush out and buy these discs! LOL!

That's a lovely thought, Tom. I really like it.

Coffee ice cream and sauerkraut?  I think not.

(Although I did joke with a customer today who was buying hot dogs and chocolate chip cookie dough.  I asked her if she was attempting some variation on pigs in a blanket.  She laughed.)

I went to the Ice Cream Capital of the World today. They had shirts that said "Ice Cream - it's good for the body" and
"Give me all the ice cream and no one gets hurt"   Ice cream means a lot to me.

I had a great dessert that was really strong coffee  cooled to room temp then poured over vanilla ice cream.  It was quite tasty.

I'm heading to Philadephia Thursday for a meeting.  Looking forward to most of it.  I haven't been out of town in ages and ages - well for me it's ages and ages.  I'm looking forward to it.

Shall now shower, and then shortly we'll begin the reading.  I'll probably get a bite to eat afterwards.

And now for something completely different:

I bought my DVD copy of Disney's "Song of the South" from efilmic.com but you can't find it by doing any kind of search on the site...you have to know the specific link (I got it in an e-mail from a co-worker, who got the link in an e-mail ad from efilmic.com, themselves!).  I just happened to be looking through my bookmarks here at work and there it was!  I thought I had deleted it a long time ago.  So, if anyone's interested, HERE'S the link.  And it's on sale right now.  Just had to share. :)

I was just thinking that a hot cup of good coffee with a scoop of vanilla ice cream plopped into it would be delish.
