It's not Spring in Australia, either.

Where did everybody go?

It was a crowded site for a while...and now just a few lurkers.

Too much!

Too soon!

Too many!

Too often!

She had...

TOO MANY CONNECTIONS

Apparently this painting, "Dora Maar au chat,"  by Picasso is his impression of his mistress, and sold yesterday for 95 MILLION dollars.

Yes, I am a true suburbanite, unsophisticated cretin as I do not see the value of it, and I would not have felt flatterd by the rendition had I been the aforementioned mistress!

Re: last night's LOST.

My favorite part of the backstories is seeing how everyone is connected. Watching Ana Lucia with Jack's dad was neat.  And seeing Sawyer pass their car at the bar was interesting.

Oh and watching Jin and Jack at the flight check-in, with Ana Lucia there.

For  moment, I thought that the woman Jack's dad was arguing with was going to turn out to be Charlie's mother.  But that would have been too much.  Or would it?

I did not like what they did to nadia. What was the point of getting her out of her coma?

And I sort of liked renee rienne. Double bummer!

I remember a few years ago when we would comment on the show and gasp. :(

Omphalos Ado shakes artworld!

Commenting on the above, LA Times reports:

Quote
"But the painting, when you start looking at it, is full of these awkward moments…. That body is, to me, awkward. The head is hopelessly small, compared to the huge vastness of torso, which is rather unpleasant."

And the belly button, which is placed dead in the middle of the composition, "is the biggest belly button in the history of belly buttons,"

Well, it seems Van Dyck likes 'em big:

Two interesting scenes for me were:
1.sawyer and ana lucia's sex in the jungle.
2.Henry Gale telling Locke that he had been going there to take him!

Perhaps her contract called for a visually exciting write-out.

LOST from last night.

For  moment, I thought that the woman Jack's dad was arguing with was going to turn out to be Charlie's mother.  But that would have been too much.  Or would it?

I'm just in the middle of reading this recap, and they are wondering who the mystery child is.

I actually thought that the blonde woman looked a lot like claire. Could it have been her mother? (meaning jack and claire would be siblings?).

Glad to hear there was a happy ending to your story George! (Now just hope the home/cat owners don't lurk at this here site!)

:o

Thanks...and I'm pretty sure that they don't. ;)

I played Mordred as well.....in 1991.  I liked everything except my wig.

And I loved being so mean in the GUINEVERE song....that was MY favorite part of the show!

I never played Mordred, but I was in a production in 1991, also!  What a coinkydink! ;D

I am listening to Spaceagepop.com and they just played an amusing song called DON'T SQUEEZE THE PEACHES sung by Gerry Woo (music by Jack Costanza).
