FJL, when will you be seeing Mame? I'm going down with a dear friend next weekend (Memorial Day weekend) arriving in DC on Friday, May 26th and leaving Monday, May 29. We're staying with friends in Dupont Circle. I'm looking forward to it.

For some odd reason I have had the Can-Can stuck in my head all day after falling asleep last night after watching Moulin Rouge

I Have Had The Can Can Stuck In My Head

the famous Lilo autobiography? ;)

I was almost gonna say "And one for Moulin"  - in honor of Moulin Rouge, but that would have been silly.

I'm glad you refrain from saying it! ;)

Or could have said "And one for Mill, in honor of the Red Mill", but who cares, right?! ;D

Ben - My MAME ticket is for the June 24th matinee.   Can't wiat to get your thoughts on it.

I ended up with a box seat, which is where I sat for SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE and MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG a few years ago.  It's a little bit set back, but it's a fun way to see a show - a private little room with four people in it and no risk of being blocked by the head of someone tall.

Glad you were terse, MR BK.

The only ones who think you acted badly are the guilty ones who caused the behavior.  What a bunch of idiots.

Theatre commitments come below school, sports (participating in and/or watching), television shows, jobs, internet appointments, and romance.  Everyone wants to be in the show, but NOBODY wants to rehearse.

Ugh!

Yes of course, and in the last issue of SCARLET STREET was an entire article on the career of Rhubarb the cat!  8)

I agree. I'm looking for recipes. I'm sure I can find one, but if anyone has one they've used that would be great. I haven't done anything with it yet, thought I'd make something tomorrow

I've watched my mom make the pie, but like the three little kittens, I only eat it myself.  ;D

I hope you can find the Pearson book - it's terrific!
