How about this picture?  It's a little better:

I just finished catching up on the posts from the east coast broadcast and they gave me quite a chuckle- especially since so many of them matched my own thoughts at the time.

Did anyone notice a mishap in Howard McGillan's singing of Music of the Night- like maybe he forgot the words, or was starting to sing a different verse, and somehow lost his place- West Coasters, please let me know if you notice this or maybe it's just a leftover effect from today's earlier wine tastings.

We also felt that some of tonight's more heartfelt speeches seemed a bit, I don't know, rehearsed.  Kind of like Reese Witherspoon's Oscar acceptance speech... or it could be that I am way too jaded, but possibly it's a little of both.

Rodzinski has tomorrow off from work, and I don't have to go in to work until 2, so we are being night owls.

I thought the same thing.  I really didn't listen to much of what they had to say if they looked too prepared

I'm doing a running commentary.

Jersey Boys - I'm sure it's a wonderful show, but it just looked like a big rock concert to me.

Sweeney Todd: Underwhelmed - again, it may work in the theatre - but when the chorus burst into "Swing your razor high" there was no power and I don't like that tiny orchestration.

Personally, I liked the winner who thanked the people who work backstage.

The first time I went to the Tony's Rosie O'Donnell was the host, and she told the funniest and most off-color jokes during the commercials.  It was great, and really kept the evening moving along cause that is a long time to sit without using the bathroom.

I felt this especially about the Best Actor in a Musical winner.  It struck me as very fake-o.

Without a host I wonder what they are doing during commercials

Audra McDonald's white dress is wonderful...in my humble opinion. :)

"Crap! I was going to that speech, now everyone is going to think I'm copying!"

I know, I know, I am a really horrible person.

It was cool seeing one of my former bosses on stage tonight- she wrote me a letter of recommendation when I applied to grad school years ago.

Wow, just caught up on the posts.  We had a seating issue in our living room and one of our guests plunked herself down in the chair by the computer and I couldn't get there to post.

I was surprised to learn that they started giving out statues in 1967...didn't someone here have Alexis Smith's Tony for "Follies" and wasn't it a medallion rather than a statue?

I think there was a cut made in the music that Howard McGillin was supposed to sing and he started to do it the way it was in the show rather than the cut version, possibly???  He recovered pretty well, I thought.

Yeah, that was my guess. He just stopped midway and then found his place again.

I really loved the number from "The Wedding Singer."

That lead singer/guitarist looks familiar to me.  Does anyone know anything about him?  Has he done any standup comedy using his guitar and singing his act?

I think JERSEY BOYS is a phenomenal show, but I don't think the selections from it really represent the show that's playing at the August Wilson Theater, which (if you ask me, but nobody asked) shoulda been a Pulitzer contender, compared to the other plays that were Pulitzer-nominated.

I thought The Wedding Singer was loud and flashy and "now" in the way that I hate.

Well, at least we'll get to see Julia Roberts and find out what all the cattiness was about.

I did think Kristin Bell looked adorable.  I worked with her right after Tom Sawyer, on the Sherman Brothers album and found her very sweet.  But someone I know doesn't like her at all and never has a nice thing to say about her.  However, given the events of the last few weeks, I'm just beginning to wonder if that doesn't have more to do with the person and not Kristin.

I don't know about using his guitar in his act, but he is a stand up comedian.  A friend of mine brought a group of his high school students to see the show and was surprised to find out that they were all Stephen Lynch fans from his acting/comedy.
