Helen Dallimore, who sings with John Barrowman, is from Oz!

Better get a kick out of "crouch" than a kick in the crouch, right?!

You just want to see Barrowman in his "blottir" pose.

Dallimore - that's what we'll call the next Dalmatian!

Thought of you when we saw the broad end of a Corgi sashaying down Rehoboth Avenue - and from it's sorry excuse for a rear appendage, it was a Pembroke.

I was hoping The Deadly Affair would get better, but I'm afraid it was deadly stright through to the bitter end.

It's time for me to leave work and go usher for "Werther."  I don't know how long it'll last, but I'll find out soon enough!  Later. :)

Clint Walker. But only if he remembered to bring a big Christmas package.

How does he mean that?

I just got a nice early Christmas present:  we haven't worked out the "show me the money (and benefits)" part yet, but I just got the formal offer for the most excellent MD position I IV'd for last week.  I'm really excited about the opportunity!

Well DR's - who (past or present) of fame or infamy would you like to invite to a Christmas cocktail party?

Well, from what I understand, probably just Earl Holliman.

We are back from our visit to the Berkshires and a dear friend who is recovering from breast cancer. We were gone from Wednesday to earlier this evening. Tomorrow we head out to Long Island for the Christmas holidays. We will be back in NYC on Tuesday and the countdown for back to work (ugh) begins. It all goes by so quickly. I did read all the posts from Wednesday through now so I'm caught up. See you all later!

Straight from Kritzerland I just received two DVDs of KEVIN SPIRTAS NIGHT AND DAYS. One for me and one for dear Diana Darrin who was quite enthralled by his singing in THE BRAIN FROM PLANET X and who thinks the BK is the best thing to happen to theater since that Bard guy.

As well as those previously mentioned DVDs I picked up at Big Lots the 3 movie DVD of GIDGET films and Judy Holliday/Aldo Ray movie THE MARRYING KIND. Both DVDs were only $3 bucks a piece. They had several classic titles including quite a few Rita Hayworth films all for that price.

DH Richard and I are quite enjoying Season 1 of The Closer.  We're taking a short intermission about halfway through Episode 2.

Yesterday I mailed my one and only package Christmas package.  It should arrive in NY tomorrow.  Since we mostly shop only at places that permit Sherlock we mailed it from our local Rite Aid which has a post office in the back.

Craig takes forever to collect his packages from the post office & he still has goodies from his last box, so we didn’t send him anything. All our other, very few, gifts were ordered through the internet or by phone.

I expect this will be my last post until after Christmas, spending time with the family.

HAVE A VERY SPECIAL HOLIDAY WEEKEND!

Speaking of today's column name (and weren't we?   ;D), one of the kids' Chanukah gifts tonight was The Flying Nun on DVD.  This came about because somehow a while back Betsy and I were talking about this show and the kids could not believe the premise.  So of course I ended up watching a couple of episodes tonight.  It's actually a very sweet show, but I had never realized all these years that it was Shelley Morrison (or is it Morison?) portraying Sister Sixto!

Just back from a party at which I am certain we were the second and third oldest people there. :)  Very lovely party, though, in a very lovely apartment with very lovely eats.
