The Borgias are having an orgy!
There's a Borgial orgy tonight!

I'll be seeing you
In every lovely summer's day;
In every thing that's light and gay.
I'll always think of you that way.

I'll find you
In the morning sun
And when the night is new.
I'll be looking at the moon,
But I'll be seeing you.

One person stopped in and commented on my "new" painting on the wall.

For two bits she will do a mazurka in jazz,
With a view of Niagara that nobody has.
And on a clear day you can see Alcatraz.
You can learn a lot from Lydia!

I am eating a delish-i-ous Spensa salad from Saladworks (all lettuce, no pasta, balsemic dressing.)

Yum.

Jolene, jolene, jolene, jolene!
Im begging of you please dont take my man.
Jolene, jolene, jolene, jolene!
Please dont take him just because you can.

I don't think these are particularly good lyrics--I just think this is a fun song to sing out loud.

It's a sure sure sign
You have ceased to be a rover
And your single days are over
It's a sure sure sign
You had best begin rehearsing
For the better and for worsing
If she creeps beside you gently in the gloaming
Whispers softly, "Don't you think the moon's divine?"
Keep your courage steady, Freddie,
For she's got the harpoon ready
It's a sure sure sign

Gay Montana cop asked
to help train Afghans

Quote

Gay liason officer hopes to enlighten police about cultural diversity
MISSOULA, Mont. (AP) | Jan 9, 7:58 AM

Scott Oak, the Missoula Police Department's gay liaison officer, is taking a one-year leave to help train the Afghan National Police force.

Oak said he was contacted by officials with the State Department, who apparently became aware of him through news coverage he received as an openly gay officer and Missoula's first police liaison to the gay community.

Oak said he was asked to carry that expertise abroad and conduct training in human and civil rights, ethics, diversity and basic police operations.

Ice cream. He brought me ice cream!
Vanilla Ice cream! Imagine that!
Ice cream, and for the first time, we were together without a spat!
Friendly, he was so friendly, that isn't like him; I'm simply stunned.
Will wonders never cease? Will wonders never cease?
It's been a most peculiar day!
Will wonders never cease? Will wonders never cease?....

It's right as rain
Low as a thunder
Light as a cloud
Sweet as a cake
It's got a kick like mountain liquor
And it's as slick and hard
To take as Veronica Lake.
It picks you up and then knocks you right down
It makes you laugh and play and act like a clown.
No other music has the right to the crown
Coz there's nothing that will raise your heat
Like the boogie-woogie beat

Yes, we speak of things that matter,
With words that must be said.
Can analysis be worthwhile?
Is the theater really dead?
And how the room is softly faded
And I only kiss your shadow,
I cannot feel your hand,
Youre a stranger now unto me
Lost in the dangling conversation.
And the superficial sighs,
In the borders of our lives.

Good Afternoon!

Well... A couple of knocks with a rubber mallet...  A couple of shims placed under one end... Well...  I hoped that fixed my radiator... Hmm...  Guess I'll find out soon enough...

*And, if not, guess it's time to fill out another maintenance request form.  -Which is actually, OK.  I like our handyman.  However, the property manager always tries to "hide" the repairs from the property owner/landlord.  But, again, I like our handyman.  He actually does like and want to fix things.  -Which reminds me, I need to leave "a little envelope" for him as a Thank You for fixing my floor two days before Christmas.  ;)

This heart of mine
Was doing very well,
The world was fine
As far as I could tell;

And then quite suddenly I met you and I dreamed of gay amours,
At dawn I woke up singing sentimental overtures.

This heart of mine
Is gaily dancing now;
I taste the wine
Of real romancing now;

Somehow this crazy world has taken on a wonderful design,
As long as life endures, it's yours, this heart of mine.

And thanks to Google for "teaching" me the difference between the various types of radiators: water, steam, one pipe, two pipes, etc.  After reading a couple of articles and looking at a couple of images, I was able to determine that I have a single pipe, steam radiator in my room.  And that it actually needs to "slope gently" toward the main water valve... And since I noticed that the floor had settled a bit... And since I had a pack of shims in my toolbox... :)

I'm in the mood for love
Simply because you're near me.
Funny, but when you're near me
I'm in the mood for love.

This reminds me of:

If I'm not near the girl (or boy) I love
I love the girl (or boy) I'm near.

;)

Buy a bottle of jojoba oil...and put about a tsp of oil in your palm with the shampoo before you wash your hair.

This will help a lot!

When I was young and simple
I don't recall the date
I met a handsome captain of the guard
He visited my chambers one evening rather late
In tandem with a husky Saint Bernard

At first I was astonished
And tears came to my eyes
But, later when I asked him to resume
He said, to my surprise
My dear, it isn't wise
Where love is concerned one must freshen the bloom...

Laura is the one who broke up the affair between Clifton Webb and Vincent Price! Shame, they would have made a nice couple.
