I think every comment on page 6 ought to have "ass" in it since we're off to such a good start here....

I am wondering if someone who watched last night's MEDIUM can help me.

There was a big storm in the US area where are NBC station is from. So they had 2 storm breaks during the show. They only lasted 1 or 2 minutes. But it really screws up the story.

I was wondering if someone could fill me in on two things.

SPOILERS

1. The first break was right at the beginning of the show.  The first thing i saw was alison and joe in their bedroom and she was acting all funny (asking him to turn around when she was dressing). I'm guessing there might have been some scene with alison buying valentine's for bridget. And maybe some type of dream scene which would explain why alison woke up as another person.

2. The second break was when alison was in the mental hospital. She had just dreamt of the car crash. And she seemingly was herself again. Well joe checked her out of the hospital. But there must have been some explanation about her pretending or what her reaction was when she woke up from this car crash dream.

Thanks.

If it's OK with DR Elmore, I can post the link as soon as it's on the website of the local newspaper.

DR Ginny, I would greatly appreciate that!

Why have I visions of you on a flaming raft drifting over the horizon?
And who will edit the film of your end-times?

Well, I do plan to be cremated. And I have a young protogé who I will hand my mouse to when I'm not living hand-to-mouse anymore.

I can relate to this problem. I rely a lot on the sound of traffic myself. One would think that seeing-eye dogs could hear a noise that humans cannot, and the dogs would be trained to alert their owners. Of course, that only helps those with seeing-eye dogs. Surely there's a technology that could address this without undue noise pollution.

Put on your thinking cap, DERBRUCER, and invent something!

Have you checked on legal authority - safe deposit boxes and all financial accounts are generally frozen at death until proper probate procedures are followed!

My poor father was hounded by the state of New Jersey for a criminal prosecution because he drew a check on my parents' joint bank account to pay a previsously contracted joint obligation. (That he was executor and sole benficiary mattered not.)

der Brucer

Interesting, after my father passed away my sister continued to write checks from my father's account to pay her  bills.  I doubt she would have been prosecuted had she lived more than three months following his death.

Back from a nice breakfast meeting with Miss Merissa Haddad.  I really like her, and I think we're going to have a lot of fun.  Some ideas are already beginning to present themselves.

My brother and I created quite a furor when we made the decision to have my father in a closed casket.  I'm in the minority, I guess, but I find open caskets truly nauseating.  I wanted people to remember my father as he was when he was alive - not some painted facade.

Had a nice long lunch with friends, and still got back in time to watch everything I had recorded from last night.

I began with MEDIUM, a wonderfully perplexing episode that kept surprises and confusions going almost to the end for me.

And one of the most beautiful moments in the history of the show: when Joe broke down sitting with Allison after she finally regained her identity. I was weeping as well.

This episode was a tour de force for both Patricia Arquette and Jake Weber. Either would be crazy not to use as an Emmy submission episode.
