Does THE FANTASTICKS have a souvenir book yet with PHOTOS?

Vibes to get DR CILLA LIZ.

As for Flatley and CATS getting booked into the wrong theatres.  Well, DR SINGDAW - yes audiences in Indy would notice, but nobody would say anything.

Ahh, a nice, relaxing "all about me" Sunday...

...In honor of DR Jose, I was going to post a photo of my current treat -- vanilla ice cream with this heavenly concoction of strawberries and balsemic vinegar mixture (something my little leprechaun came up with) -- in a golden chalice ----  but alas, I do not have the Holy Grail, no digital camera, and no chocolates wrapped in gold foil, nor a golden fig leaf to grace the top of the creation -- but it's the thought that counts, right?...so I'll just pretend my plain, white, ceramic bowl is indeed the Holy Grail fit for a HHW Goddess...

Well, will this suffice for now?

edisaurus, believe me, from what I've heard, you don't want to see this "production" of Camelot.  Its director is known for "recreating" the work of better people, and there are several of the show's songs cut.

Yes...I think I remember reading that they cut one of my favorites: "The Seven Deadly Virtues". Why?? They cut it from the movie, too, didn't they? I did like David Hemmings as Mordred, and since that's a song you don't really have to sing, anyway...

Why??

Is this some sort of...code?   ???  :o   ;D

Naaa, I just think it's a variation on that old Mae West quote "Why don't you come up sometime and see me" .....

It'll be fun to hear what newbie thinks of DR Jose's "bakeries"...

Dakota-I add Vegemite to my nut burgers & mushroom burgers before cooking them.  I don’t care for it as a spread.

The DVD is great and it has a commentary by Frankenheimer and the long version (with complete nudity) of the wine stomping ceremony.

Frankenheimer directed several original films for TNT. I cut the trailers for them,so he would occasionally call the editing room. That's not a typical thing, but he was friends with the producer I was working with...they were tennis buddies. One time she wasn't in the room when he called (well, she very rarely WAS) so I did get to tell him how much I loved SECONDS. He was very gracious and appreciative.

DR elmore - Patrick sends his best.  As for the orchestrations, Bill Brohn will be supplementing Michael Gibson's original charts from the Signature Theatre production.

I <heart> Signature Theatre. Any theatre that has Bill Irwin as their artist-in-residence is tops in my book and worth a trip up from Atlanta!

I went and stuffed my gaping maw with Indian food from STAR INDIA....then came home and did yard work most of the day, while supervised by Freddy and Dog Bosco.

My neighbor from the mansion across the street, Rod, came over and played with Bosco a bit and we chatted about thisa and thata. They got a new puppy the other day, a cute little golden retriever.

Now I am exhausted and all stuffed up from allergies...this nice weather must have started up the pollen or grass seed or something...but that is Ok...I am pleased to see the sun out instead of the rain.

DR edisaurus - ....From this morning... As for the formatting commands, all you have to do is place your text between the formatting brackets.  So, based on your post this morning...

[move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%]Jeez...I don't even see the squiggly vibe thingy on my keyboard. That's not a good start![/move]

And what does this button do?

And this button?

Not to mention this that one.

-Although, some browsers don't support all the formatting features - well, they won't show up properly if at all.  In any case...

If you hit the "quote" button, you'll see the formatting code in the reply box.

Edi, have you listened to either CeltRadio or Renaissance radio?

No, but I would love to add the addresses to my playlist!

One I like is Radio Dismuke: Vintage Popular Music and Jazz 1925-1935
http://radiodismuke.com/

It always makes me feel good! Maybe DR Ron Pulliam should give them a listen.

Well, in my case, a bakery really is bakery - Magnolia, Levain, Silver Moon, Buttercup, Billy's, Amy's Bread, etc., etc., etc.  Sad, but true.

Ah, the 'ole "Midwestern nice" thing.  I'm sure you're right!

I went to school in Ohio, and being from the East Coast, stupidly thought I had arrived in the Midwest.  The locals quickly corrected me on that - no, I was still in the East.  And looking at a map, you know, I discovered that they were absolutely right!   :P

ARe you familiar with Peter Oustrousko? He is a composer from MN. He is not bad and I have listened to a couple of his CDs. The local library has copies of them.

I used to hear him a lot on Prairie Home Companion, and have one of his albums on vinyl. He's a super player!

Well, it's a different Signature Theatre.  This was/is Signature Theatre in Arlington, VA which "specializes" in musicals, especially those of Mr. Sondheim.  Trust me, if Signature Theatre (Arlington, VA) had Bill Irwin as an artist-in-residence, I would actually consider working their again.  ;)
