We will, of course, expect full reports on the Grease show - it's the only way we know what's happening as I will not have it on my television screen.  I'm almost through with Infamous - interesting film, about which I'll have more to say in the notes - while I didn't love Capote, it's better than this film.

I think I'll go over to Gelson's and get something to snack on for this evening - either some fruit, or some popcorn, or something else, say maybe some non-fat ice cream or something.  I kind of have a hankerin' for some Rocky Road or something with chocolate chips in it or nuts.

Well, having worked on two "major" productions of Camelot, all I can say is what one of my director's said, "You cut what you love."  There's just soooo much book, and soooo much music - especially if you decide to include "Take Me To The Fair" and "Fie On Goodness" - which are not a part of the "standard package" anymore.  I do not envy any director who has to tackle the show.  Even Lerner & Loewe never thought they truly finished, "solved" it.

SECONDS and CAMELOT...worlds collide because I saw Rock Hudson as King Arthur in Camelot at Atlanta's "Theatre of the Stars" back in the 70's.

Yes...I think I remember reading that they cut one of my favorites: "The Seven Deadly Virtues". Why?? They cut it from the movie, too, didn't they? I did like David Hemmings as Mordred, and since that's a song you don't really have to sing, anyway...

Why??
Der Brucer, before I met him (I believe when he was still a blond) played Mordred in a community production somewhere... Monterey?  As he explained it, it really is a song that needs to be performed, not sung.  And trust me, he's much better as a performer.

I don't know what DR Jose would make of his performance, however, as he says he lept from the stage onto the piano in the pit!  SCUFF MARKS!

I like Vegemite and Marmite, too. We have an Australian Bakery on the Marietta Square so it's easy to find all that Aussie stuff, like lamingtons.

OH!  Do they carry Violet Crumble and Crunchy Bars?  And Freddo Frogs? And Rocklea Road?

DR EDISAURUS according to my Playbill "The Seven Deadly Virtues" is in this production.

"I Loved You Once in Silence" is missing.
Maybe it's just being mouthed.

This is a nice, relaxing, all-about-me SUNDAE!

Maybe DR Jose has surveillance cameras stationed in your house?

DR Jose, cut that out!  .....Sooo..the piano stuff is just a cover, heh?  You really work for Homeland Security... I was wondering how they had such a big file on me...

Well, during my college summers, I worked in the Personnel Records division at Coast Guard HQ in Washington, DC.  And since we had access to said records, we were granted a certain security clearance level... And since it never really technically 'goes away'....

I know they have Violet Crumble (which sounds like someone from Willy Wonka) and Freddo Frogs, which sound like a French gangster!  :)

What the difference between a violin and a viola?

I <heart> Signature Theatre. Any theatre that has Bill Irwin as their artist-in-residence is tops in my book and worth a trip up from Atlanta!

I still maintain that Bill Irwin is dead.

I know, it was wacky and funny... (thinking MBarnum's favorite is weiners...especially for breakfast...and me trying to make one out of bacon  ::))  ... Maybe DR JRand can tell us the meaning of MBarnum in boxers and big rings wanting a weiner for breakfast ;)

I've a brisket braising in the oven, close to ready I hope, and must get to the cabbage and buttered noodles.

It will get me out of audio range of those Broadway "auditions."   :P

When I was in Australia a few years ago, my birthday happened to coincide with the trip, so... At the of end of a very wonderful meal, they brought a Vegemite Birthday Cake for me!  -Well more like a big Vegemite Sandwich.  -But it had sparklers in it!

Thankfully, they also brought out a chocolate cake too which was decorated with Freddo Frogs.

That's what I mean -- stuff was skewed -- it was wacky -- that's what the "dream Karen" was remembering: that MBarnum loved weiners and you loved "diet" Cherry Coke...it all was most nonsensical... that's why I need DR JRand to tell me the significance..
