COLD CASE had another heartbreaking story of the death of a younger brother of a blue collar family interested in dance and petrified that his grocer dad would never approve.

Pretty easy to guess the murderer once all the information was given.

DR MattH - I, too, wondered about the key for Austin's song.  Either the producers were/are too cheap to pay for the charts to get transposed, or Austin wanted to show off more of his lower range.  I suspect the former.

I've left enough frosting for breakfast, and now I need to go to sleep.

Good night!

They gave him props for his baritone voice, but at most he's a lyric baritone with a very high end to his range.

And I did like the family testimonials offered. We sometimes forget that these folks are just average joes struggling to make it with people back home who love and support them. (Does my heart good to see musical performers supported by their parents. I only got marginal support from my folks.)

He's definitely a bari-tenor like most of the former Link's (from Hairspray) have been.

I finished the evening with WITHOUT A TRACE, more a mystery than a missing person's story since we saw the woman killed and put in a chest and dumped overboard in the opening segment. We had three suspects, and it wasn't hard to figure out who did it.

The story and teleplay were written by star Anthony LaPaglia who should keep his day job. I found it one of the weaker episodes in the series' history.

They haven't mentioned HHW yet...

Wow, whatta day!  Had a lovely visit with bk and Adrianna.  There was lively discussion and pancakes were consumed.  I attended the S.T.A.G.E. Benefit.  And to top the day off -- Rob & Amber were eliminated from the amazing race.  Finally, someone knocked them from their pedestal.

Who decide's whether we are hainsies/ kimmlets? Do we have to choose, or are we by default both?

I walked down creepy murder scene spot with my mother to get the idea of what it looks like at night....the things we do for love.

there's an interesting topic- What is the most obscure thing a boss or co-worker asked you to do-work related? (let's try to keep this clean please).

Hmm... Should that have been preceded by a SPOILER ALERT?

I had to giggle watching the singers try to bring emotion to the line "Grease is the way we are feeling."

I did find Rob Marshall's comment to the first two performers to do whatever song they were doing, no mattre what it is, as if it were being sung by Danny or Sandy very valuable - especially to the later performers.  The next performer after that advice was given did exactly that, performed (I think) as if she were Sandy pleading with Danny, and knocked it out of the park.
