Irony?

Is that what happens after washery?

First we go throught the sordid business.
Then it's the washery and driery.
Then the irony.
Then we fold up shop.

Quote
Maine Man Swears Mouse Stole His Dentures

WATERVILLE, Maine (March 24) - Never underestimate a mouse's determination. There's a mouse in Bill Exner's house that he says he has captured three times. Each time, the mouse escaped, and the last time the rodent made off with his lower dentures.

Exner, 68, said he and his wife Shirley scoured his bedroom after the dentures disappeared from his night stand.

"We moved the bed, moved the dressers and the night stand and tore the closet apart," he said. "I said, 'I knew that little stinker stole my teeth' - I just knew it."

They found a small opening in a wall where they suspected the mouse was coming and going, and their daughter's fiance, Eric Holt, stepped in to help.

"He brought a crowbar and hammer and he sawed off a section of wood and pulled up the molding and everything," Exner said. "It was quite a job."

They retrieved the dentures, and Holt suggested his future father-in-law boil them in peroxide and whatever else he could find for to disinfect it.

Of course, I do.  I also remember the cat with the lovely long tail that was enamored with the washing machine and used to rub against its metal legs all the time it was running.

Until he lost his tail in the motor.  It was a sad day for him.   :P

Had some chow and shall now watch a motion picture on DVD.  Wrote five pages earlier.  Now, we've got us some fancy postin' to do between now and midnight, otherwise we will have our lowest day in March - and let me tell you, March is poised to burst every record known to man and woman on this here site.

We haven't heard about Anthony's Drowsy Chaperone audition.

Do actor's usually hear about auditions on the day of the audition? A couple days later? Sometimes never?

Memory about The Owl and the Pussycat:  My folks had told me to meet them inside the movie theater, not imagining that a Streisand film (especially with that title) could be rated R.  The movie theater wouldn't let me buy a ticket since I was under-age.  Scared and alone, I faked  a crying fit and they finally brought me inside to find my parents, since they insisted that an adult buy the ticket for me.  (This was in an era when we didn't buy a ticket for a specific showing - we just bought our ticket and wandered into movie theaters at any point during a movie, watched it to the end, and then just watched the movie from the beginning until the point where we came in, or at least we did that in Brooklyn.)

Got that kitchen floor mopped, but I don't like doing it on Saturday. I like for Saturday to be free of household chores. Of course, yesterday was free of household chores, but I had chores of a different kind to endure, so I felt I got NO break this week.

Saw the movie The 300.

A waste of time
A waste of money
A waste of celluloid

The 7 who went to see the film all had the same reaction.
Awful.

I began my evening with SUPERNATURAL. A little more heart (conscience?) in this one than some previous episodes, but also some bone-headed moves, too.
