YOU KNOW THE DRILL

Well, you've read the notes, the notes knew the drill, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're making the acquaintence of the drill right now.

Hi, Angela.  Things are good.  I watched Thursday's "Ugly Betty" and thoroughly enjoyed it. :D

Did you (or anyone) happen to notice that when Jeff Goldblum was talking with someone, he would frequently glance away from the person's face at what looked to me to be a specific point??  All I could think about during most of the episode was that he's using cue cards!

Anyone who knows personally feel free to argue that I am incorrect, but I happen to "know" that Jeff Goldblum does nothing of the sort, and that the eye movements come from a rare style of acting called "thinking while acting". He is one of the few actors who I can see connecting thoughts and seemingly comes up with the lines as he says them, although he does indeed learn his lines.

I understand what you mean Adriana, but from what I remember as I was watching it, I didn't get that impression...that he was "thinking."  But I'll definitely continue to watch the show.  I do enjoy it and I like Jeff Goldblum. :)

I plan to watch "Ugly Betty" over the weekend.  Lately, I've been hooked on "Brothers & Sisters".  With ABC offering a years worth of shows on-line, the VCR is collecting dust.

I got a DVR from Comcast and that's pretty much what I've been using almost exclusively.  I do have a VCR hooked up to it so that I can tape things that I want to keep...and there have been a few things.  Now, all I have to do is get a DVD burner that I can hook up to the DVR and then I won't need the VCRs anymore!

Working today.

Good news about Sherlock!

More rain here today, as well.

I enjoyed Mr Affleck's performance at George Reeves in HOLLYWOODLAND, and wish he had been the WHOLE movie, so I thought I would try out another movie of his on my new TEE VEE.  I watched FORCES OF NATURE, which is a kind of by the numbers romantic comedy that is saddled with....Sandra Bullock - but both she and Mr Affleck are very pleasant to watch.

OK... Since the trains of the weekend are all running local and/or on alternate routes, I guess I should get ready to head downtown.  Alas, my laptop is staying at the apartment today - I'm pretty sure I won't have to time to post at the casting director's office between auditions.  So, I better have a good number of pages to catch up on when I get back tonight!  OK?!?!  O! K!

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.  Laugh, and make someone else laugh too.

Laters...

Is bicycling a "sport" for purposes of the TOD?  If so, BREAKING AWAY is my favorite in that category.
