What a frenzy! I will never catch up...I'm still housecleaning and have to get up early tomorrw.

More reviews are coming in. My favorite is from the Gay City News, who not only comment on the film, but the attire and hairstyles of the interviewees!

Hi Cilla...I will have to catch up in NY to hear about your trip. Greg was trying to talk me into going back into town to meet you but I coudn't leave him alone with all this!

On the plus side, the cat sitter did not leave the house screaming during her orientation!

Oh it's no problem Jane! Sorry I wasn't here to chat with you some more, I've been beating the life out of my theory homework, to no avail. Ah, well.

I mean, during the commercial breaks of "A League of Their Own," of course.

Spoo!

Dakota- THANKS!

So my dorm sits square between a set of train tracks, and the highway 81. All night, the sound of semi trucks speeding past lulls me to sleep, and every morning, I'm woken by the sound of a train groaning past. My roommate (with whom I am NOT friends) just turns to me and says, "Sarah, it's bad enough that I have to sit here and listen to the highway and a train. In the morning, could you PLEASE make sure you walk slowly so your flipflops don't make too much noise? I mean, honestly."

Seriously?

I have 39 days left.

Also, it is very unfortunate for both myself and MORESO for her, that she has developed, over the past few months, a body odor similar to the smell of a dirty diaper. Sorry to be complaining, but I could write a book about things she's done this year to make me crazy.

Next I put in the James Bond film THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN GUN. I had forgotten that it was Lulu who sang the title song.

This is the Special Edition of the film released some years ago. I haven't bought any of the recently released Ultimate Editions. I'm going to wait for the Blu-ray version before I buy these again. They have not even been announced, but I have to think they're coming now that CASINO ROYALE sold so many copies on Blu-ray.

There is definitely dirt on this old edition's transfer, and the sound is mono (as in the theater), but otherwise, the color looks just fine. It'll do until a high definition version is released.

BONES had an acceptable episode tonight involving a five year old corpse found in a cemetery which hadn't been used for burial in more than fifty years. This investigation led to discoveries of grave robbing and other crimes. There were actually only two viable suspects, so I didn't consider it much of an accomplishment to have guessed who had committed the murder.

I could have done without the sex scene between Angela and Hodgins (we know they're together without the scene), but I sure did love all of the scenes with Stephen Fry tonight. He was signed for three episodes this season, and I wish they'd continue him as a recurring character.

CROSSING JORDAN had a plot involving the murder of an expectant lesbian mother and the kidnapping of her newborn baby. OK mystery but other side plots took a lot of attention away from that primary case. And Jordan's ongoing health crisis is just ridiculous. I could understand maybe SOME denial if the sysmptoms seemed to be subsiding, but when the problems are continuing and are getting in the way of her doing her job, well, it's just not in character for her to jeopardize others.

LOST had a wonderful episode tonight and one which I think anyone could enjoy even if he wasn't a regular viewer of the show.

And how great was it to see old friends from previous seasons alive even if for just a moment! And a great way to work in other regulars like Jack, Ben, and Juliet, too.

Well done, writers!!!

As for the IDOL elimination, I wasn't surprised with the three lowest vote getters nor with the person eliminated. Not a great performance this week and when you admit to the audience you blew it on performance night, you pretty much sign your walking papers.

I think that's what causes groaning in the first place.

(that's what she said)

No, I think she said "moaning".

Next time you see Arnold Brockman, ask him why he was just watching us today and not posting...

Didn't see the show but I did see a clip of him on the news, sporting his faux hawk! :o

Music thing was one of the few classes in college I never missed. I loved it! Oh, those hypomixolydian melismatic semi-quavers...ohohohoh!

DR Edi - I'd love to buy a ticket to Sacco and Vanzetti if it would help you out, but I'd hate to have it go to waste and not have someone use it. Of course I could buy one for the 1:00 pm show or something like that. Any suggestions?

That's so generous, Cillaliz! But don't worry about it...we're bringing in lots of ringers...errrr...patrons, so I hope it will do the trick to getting us extended another week.

How do you find Atlanta? (Fly south...)
