I guess I better make sure I catch up and watch last night's TAR when I get home tonight before the beans are spilled for me.

Congrats to Cillaliz on the weather gig! That is really cool.

Two weeks ago Bowling Green alums were invited to the ABC NY affiliate because the lead sportscaster there is BG grad, so I signed up and got a tour of the WABC studios and stuff. But to actually do the weather, that is fantastic!

Thanks. I had to pay for the honor, but it goes to a good cause and really wasn't that much money. They call it weather person for the day, but it's the noon news. Still, I think it's going to be a real kick. I'm looking forward to it.

Cillaliz, I was thinking your weather person gig was an April Fool's joke.

Congratulations! It will be fun.

Jrand, the wonderful thing about Macs is how easy the "help" function is - just go to finder and click on help and type in connecting to the internet.  You'll find what you need.

I shall try.

Well, Cillaliz, I tried to write a convincing story. All I know about such things is that the police have come and taken a couple of my neighbors away, and then they are back out in a couple days. I knew they had gone to be "evaluated."

Good morning, I am awake ( I did achieve 10 hours exactly, my biological clock works!), and my brain is functioning

At church yesterday morning, there was a sign on the palm frond basket saying, "Please take only one frond per person!"

Ah, yes...the annual stealing of the greens rationing of the fronds.

No it's the real deal.

And I thought you did a brilliant job setting us up for it a few days in advance.

But congratulations on winning the prize. It will be fun. Maybe your friends can tape it and post it on YouTube.

Yes, it's usually a 48 hour hold and eval.  So you were close, but there is usually a hearing and I didn't think there was a weekday involved when it would have happened

I love Ferrero Rocher chocolates, anything godiva with hazlenut, nutella ( a chocolate hazlenut spread, is wonderful on anything! ) and any other concoction of milk chocolate and hazlenut one can concoct.

Of course, I have cut down drastically on my kitkat consumption lately. It's not lady-like to down 3 kitkats...

The farmer grows the fronds
The cleric buys the fronds
The mother takes the fronds
The son puts back the fronds

The son is calm despite the palm
Being taken will-nilly by his errant mom
The fronds!

And ears are burning somewhere
Right here!

Here I am, trying to convince people that it really is possible I was hauled off to the psych ward.

I guess I should be glad no one believes it could happen.

Trying hard to come up with a joke about Happy Days and Henry Winkler and The Fronds, but fortunately I can't think of anything.

The palm grabbing mom,
Not knowing one from many,
Takes as many fronds as she damn-well pleases and that goes for syllables in a haiku, too!

Going to a Passover seder at my brother and sister-in-law's house in Cranford, New Jersey.  I'll have to see how many prayers I can get him to pass over.
