If Sondheim had written the Triplets number for Pacific Overtures:

We like each other very much
We like our folks
We're love the jokes on what an art it is to tell us apart
We eat the same kind of vittle
We drink from the same kind of bottles
Do poems in the same kind of haiku, haiku, haiku

Here I am, trying to convince people that it really is possible I was hauled off to the psych ward.

I guess I should be glad no one believes it could happen.

LOL! I wondered. I assumed you were trying to convince people your story could happen. Well maybe it could happen to someone else....we just don't believe it could happen to you  ;D

That's funny!  You should write lyrics...you're good!

Hi everyone - with Holy Week and Easter approaching, haven't had a lot of time to post.  Here's a quick diet update - The DP and I veered off the strictness of what is the "Extreme Body Make-Over" food allowances when we realized that this diet doesn't work for people who RESPECT food.  So, we added in a little salt and a little fat and such, and are keeping the portions down and being very conscious of what we eat.  I've sort of reverted back to the Atkins plan, but not totatlly as carbs are an important part of ones health.  We've still been excercising and I've been walking 3-4 times a week.  Clothes fit better now and we feel 100% better.  It's obvious we've both dropped some weight.  Life is good!

TOD:  White chocolate
          Dark Chocolate
          Milk Chocolate
          I scream for all chocolate!

Albeit blasphemous amongst you See's and Godiva lovers -- I'll take Hersey's over any of the fancy smancy ones -- just a plain ol' kiss or minature bar...ymmmm ....Mars ain't bad either with those M&Ms, especially just out of the frig...Kit Kats...Snickers... Babe Ruth bars...Hot fudge sundaes...Death By Chocolate (that pudding, cake and whipped cream concoction)....

I just procured a ticket to LoveMusik, the new musical featuring songs of Kurt Weill. It's part of Manhattan Theatre Club's season.

It stars Michael Cerveris as Kurt Weill and Donna Murphy as Lotte Lenya. Harold Prince is directing and Alfred Uhry wrote the book.

I'm seeing the first preview.

Thank you TDF!!!

If you live in a conurbation, it's a good idea to have curtains on all your windows, because you've no idea how many people might be looking in.

Same thing if you're conurbating -- a real good idea to have curtains, yes, defintely curtains...unless you're the sort who likes people looking in...your house, your rules...

JRand56, is this production of Cinderella closer to the Disney version or the Golden Bra version?

Isn't the second version Sinderella, DR MBarnum?  Maybe instead of the fire escape we can find a space in the basement for you.

Isn't there a local rabbi you could ask?

They would probably say not to eat anything without a kosher label on it.
