I've written six pages so far, plus all the fixes and additions, so that's a nice day's work.  I may try to do two more pages later.

But the best news is that when I was in the shower, where I get my best ideas, all the loose details I knew I was going to have to deal with for the end of the book, all came to me in one fell swoop.

Me too - mailed in CA on Saturday delivered in Delaware on Monday.

What do you call an EMerchant who charges you $5.00 for postage, then spends $8.60 to mail the box?

APPLE MAC says something is not configured correctly.  I am thinking, after some looking around, that said IP that I want to use is not compatible with this particular MAC OS....so work will continue.

I really enjoyed your "Leading Men" column, DR Rodzinski. Some of my favorites interviewed in this installment.

Off to do a little writing and then clean the dining room. Than back to the den for more viewing.

Singdaw thank you for the recipe.  I was too impatient to wait for the Two Minute Haggadah: A Passover service for the impatient to open.

Yes, good Charoses is a compliment to a seder meal.

It is the best part, but alas I won't be having any this year-no Seder, no special foods.

Jennifer, I’m really bad and eat regular matzos.  I find the Passover stuff too dry so a few years back I stopped purchasing it.

I got a price for a pet transportation to collect Craig & his dog at JFK nd drive them to Pittsburgh.  It is less expensive for me to fly out there & rent a car.  Of course a hotel for 2 nights in NY could change that.

I have one major problem, I can’t drive the 6-7 hours from JFK to Pittsburgh.  An hour is a long time for me, three hours is about the limit of my endurance.  With company I could maybe make 4 hours, maybe.

DR EDISAURUS do you have a copy of the play THE ADVOCATE by Robert Noah about S/V?

No! Peter probably does, but I am woefully lacking in the S&V department, I only have about a dozen books on the guys.

TOD:  White chocolate
          Dark Chocolate
          Milk Chocolate
          I scream for all chocolate!

Albeit blasphemous amongst you See's and Godiva lovers -- I'll take Hersey's over any of the fancy smancy ones -- just a plain ol' kiss or minature bar...ymmmm ....Mars ain't bad either with those M&Ms, especially just out of the frig...Kit Kats...Snickers... Babe Ruth bars...Hot fudge sundaes...Death By Chocolate (that pudding, cake and whipped cream concoction)....

That's exactly how I feel, too!  I have to admit that I really haven't liked many of the so-called "high quality" chocolates that everyone ooos and ahhhs about.  Pretentious crap, if you ask me. ;)

Back to brunch---Fred and Skip made me feel so at home, as did Toby and Dylan. The smell of fried chicken greeted us and we knew great things were in store.

I have to mention that, having lived in the south most of my life, I know from fried chicken, and this was the most delicious! It was tasty, moist and beautiful to behold. (I learned that Skip's secret is that he "brines" the chicken first.) I have never brined anything in my life. (Except myself, when swimming in the ocean.) I am now inspired.

And the red velvet cake was deluxe---I hope a picture will be posted. It was deluxe because it included fresh berries. I'm glad that DR Jose was able to share in the feast belatedly, although I was sorry to miss him.

Vixmom brought us all Girl Scout cookies in very stylish gift bags, including DH Greg's favorite thin mints. I love them, too, but I have learned to keep my mitts off them and save them for him. (He likes to put them in the freezer.)

It was spooky how much Vixmom reminded us both of a friend of mine in LA---they even both have daughters interested in theatre and singing. Different accent, though!

A cool Autumnal day here.  Almost cold enough for snow falling on seders.

(Of course Passover and Easter are in early October here in the land that celebrates Christmas in July).

Now, about Ben's comments regarding getting in shape for the beach...I don't know how he could be any more trim and fit-looking. It was great to meet him in person after hearing his melodious voice over the airwaves of Wales.

And it was so cool of him to come to our screening and to bring his adorable Ant!

I felt like I bonded instantly with Anthony, even though I knew very little aobut him. After seeing THE DROWSY CHAPERONE, I could easily envision him playing one of the patry chef/gangsters.

We both absolutely loved the show, BTW. I purposefully avoided reading about it, and although I bought the OCR, I didn't have time to listen to it before we went, so everything was a delightful surprise!
