I loved the YouTube clip posted from the HHW brunch. Now I hope we will be able to see Cillaliz there, too, as our weathergirl.

We had a debate at brunch about the correct pronunciation of Kritzerland.  I had always thought of it with a long I but most of the veterans pronounced it with a short i, rhyming with Switzerland, so I defer to those in the know and have adopted the official national pronunciation.

We also drank plenty of Diet Coke, the official drink of Kritzerland.

Elmore was the life of the party and had so many great stories to tell about folks he knows in the theatre. I was so glad to meet him because he was one of my first friends at HHW. I am in awe of his vast knowledge of musical theatre and music in general!

"I got my master's degree while I was at home in bed."

A Master of One's Domain??

I found out more about the wallet theft today. Apparently, the thief tried to charge $600.00 (it was an even dollar amount, which seems kind of weird) at Macy's at 9:21. This transaction did not go through. At 9:24, they charge $10 to Hertz rent-a-car in Oklahoma ( that might just be where the corporate office is) and then repeated the $600 one and it did go through.

I was trying to find out what department the thief was in so that Macy's could check their surveillance tape. The detective on the case called me yesterday and said it would be easier for them if I did this because they would have to get a subpoena to access the information. Unfortunately, VISA couldn't tell me what was purchased there. (AMEX can usually tell you, but they didn't use my AMEX card.)

I imagine that my wallet is in a trashcan in Macy's or ditched somewhere on the way there. Ihaven't told either of my parents about the loss of my talismans.

Since when did folks in Georgia worry their little ole heads about "national pronounciation"? Bless their hearts!

But even without the talismans, it was a splendid trip and a lucky one, too. Thanks to Fred and Skip's hospitality and generosity, we were able to meet so many nice folks! Greg was duly impressed!

And thanks to the HHWers and our other friends who came to screenings or bought tickets over the weekend...

WE HAVE BEEN HELD OVER FOR ANOTHER WEEK!!!!

We were also lucky with the weather. It started raining after we got into the airport, and stopped raining in Georgia right before we landed.

But the only bad thing that happened was that when we emerged all giddy from the DROWSY CHAPERONE, I got a call from my step-mother telling me that my dad had a sinking spell and his blood pressure plumetted. Fortunately, they were at the pharmacy at the VA hospital so he was able to get care quickly.

We raced uptown to get our bags, hoping to get an earlier flight but we didn't make it in time, so we stuck to our original flight since Dad was in stable condition. That put us home at 1:30 AM. My producers had already given me the green light to come in at 9:30, so it sure was nice to finally get a good night's sleep, short as it was, in our own comfy bed.

So now I'm about to finish up and head to the VA, which is only a few miles from work.

I wonder if I got World Net Daily to so a story on this "anti-American commie-loving claptrap" and have them suggest a boycott, we might sell out the house!

I do have to say that Rodzinski and T-Punk were both very cute and it was fun to talk to him about his days in Atlanta and at UGA.

I forgot to find out from T-Punk which kitty was having the digestive problems? Was it your little chubster cow-cat?

And first I thought that DR Laura's story was true, then I thought it was an April Fool's joke, and then I thought again that it was real!

And congratulations to Matthew for sticking with his diet. I am aiming to start after we get back from LA. (After hitting the House of Pies, of course!)

Woody and Matt H and all who gave me encouraging words after my encounter with the evil-doer, thank you so much for the vibes.

Now, if you have more available, please send some to my dear father. I love him very much. I'm on my way there, now that visiting hours have started again for the ICU.

Bless you all, and Bruce who bought us all together.

I got a price for a pet transportation

DR Jane, I just did a quote at work a few days ago to transport an assignee's dog from Japan to the US.  It's going to run his company about $3,500.00.
