Oy!  What a way to start page 12!

(What am I, Jewish today?  Though I guess since I believe everyone's a little bit Irish for St. Patty's Day, everyone can be a little bit Jewish for Passover!)

Sam Neill as Cardinal Woolsey?

Is that like Frances Bavier as Aunt Bee?

I am aiming to start after we get back from LA. (After hitting the House of Pies, of course!)

How long are you going to be in LA?  I am going back to AZ for Easter/to see Heather's show - starting Thursday through Tuesday, and I fear I am going to miss your trip entirely...

What a shame indeed because the House of Pies is literally right around the corner from my apartment...

Well if BK can go the Ryans' for Seder, I guess a little Murphy can be Jewish today (asuming you can pass the physical).

I just tried a new recipe for our dinner, which sounded much better in the magazine than it tasted on our plates.  DH Richard was very kind, but I put the clipping in the recycled paper to go out tonight  :P

She's in a stage version of Disney's High School Musical -- it's with a group that she's been a part of for quite some time, and is her last show with them.  She'd be the first to admit that it isn't the most challenging or life-changing piece of theatre, but I'm really looking forward to seeing her do her stuff.  :)

But the only bad thing that happened was that when we emerged all giddy from the DROWSY CHAPERONE, I got a call from my step-mother telling me that my dad had a sinking spell and his blood pressure plumetted. Fortunately, they were at the pharmacy at the VA hospital so he was able to get care quickly.
....

So now I'm about to finish up and head to the VA, which is only a few miles from work.

Well, I wanted to wish a very good afternoon to all of the assembled and sun-dried lovelies, studlies, vixens, waifs, and lumberjacks here at the old Living Room .  I've been really swamped with trying to stay caught up on both paperwork, and also ongoing projects.

I made a real push this past weekend and finally just about finished the new "theatre wall" that I've been creating at my house.

Here is a picture that was taken about 2 weeks ago, after all of the structural and support work had been finished, and the wall had gotten painted in its new color of "deep cherrywood."

Cilla-First you were on stage as part of a play, now you will be the weather girl.  Do you have fun or what.  :D

Yes, DR Jane I have fun.  I decided a long time ago that there is no reason not to have fun, try new things and enjoy life. Especially when it doesn't involve anything that is harmful to anyone....well I guess if I screwed up the weather forecast and a tornado was coming someone could get hurt, but that's why the professionals are there as back-up.  ;D

Goodness, the mailman treated me like I was MattH; on our stoop:

BLOOD DIAMOND - 2 disc SE

PETER PAN - 2 disc Platinum Edition (which I wasn't going to but 'cause Matt said "forget it", and then when he decided it was an improvement over SE, I ordered it (he should get a commission)

SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS 2 disc SE

You know you're gettin' up there when you buy 50th Anniverasy Editions of Films you saw on their first release!

And, after restoring and installing the 2 art deco wall sconces, getting the new plasma screen installed, and mounting the cable box/DVR and DVD/VCR units in the recessed alcoves, Here is what the wall looks like today........HUZZAH   :D
