A blond, all distraught, calls her boyfriend on the phone.

"Honey, could you please come over? I bought this jigsaw puzzle and it's real hard!"

The boyfriend asks, "What kind of puzzle is it?"

The blond answers, "Well, there's a picture of a rooster on the box, but all the pieces are the same color and I can't get any of them to fit together."

The boyfriend says he'll be right over.

When he arrives, the blond leads him to her dining room table.

"Well, what do you think?", she asks.

The boyfriend takes a deep sigh and says, "First, let's put the corn flakes back into the box..."

Yes, DTM, how our eating habits have changed....well...my eating habits are still attempting to change...when chocolate appears I have a devil of a time staying away from it!

But I have to admit that my taste for sugar laden items has decreased substantially in the last few years as I have weened myself off....however I am still attracted to many carb loaded foods

...and just when I learned to make Wacky Noodles, too!

TOD:

I recall eating Rice Chex and Rice Krispies as a child. My Dad's favorite was Shredded Wheat, which I occasionally ate as well. Today I prefer oatmeal or granola, though I ate some Rice Krispies just last week.

Like Singdaw, I had never heard of Quisp or Quake or that other one until today.

And, like MBarnum, I prefer foods that aren't too sweet. (Perhaps for a different reason.) I feel that sweeteners should ENHANCE the flavor, as opposed to BE the flavor. But that's just my personal preference.

Hmm.. I just checked over at weather.com to see what the current temp is in Central Park, and noticed a Severe Weather Alert posted. -Hmm, there's no call for a thunderstorm. Well, it turns out the alert is for tomorrow: "Air Stagnation Alert". High ozone levels tomorrow during the day. $:-\$

However, I guess that means I should probably get out this afternoon. And I think I shall.
