Alright.  Which one of you lovely, lovely people did it?

I came home from work to find a box by the front door, I haven't ordered anything so it was a puzzle.

When I opened it, there was two framed items.  A star, Ursa Minor RA 13h22m8s D 73 dgrees23, has been named for my Mother, Helen D Hegerty.  The card with it read:

To Danise
"First star on the right,
and straight on til morning."
From all of your friends
who love you at
Haines His Way

I will treasure this forever.

I love you guys.   :-*

And I'm crying like a baby right now.  It's so lovely.  I don't know what to say.

In my CD player right now:  My Life With Albertine, after which will be A Doll's Life again.  I listened to it yesterday. :)

That's pretty much it...for now.

Looks like we may get a micro-burst.

Is that a euphemism?

My husband just brought back "M" magazine from Paris.  There are some lovely [not so little] French boys within.

Hi DR TCB,

I'm sorry--I had a phone call right in the middle of everything.  My friend, Thelma wanted me to know about the tropical storm.

No offense at all! I was joking, of course!

I don't know that "M" magazine and I'm sure I'm missing something!

I'm sitting here trying to think what I have done to deserve such wonderful friends.  Last year when I was sick, the flowes that were sent and now all this kindess with my Mom gone.

I feel so humbled and so very, very blessed.   :-* :'(

Marty, our big black Lab mix, hasn't been feeling well.

We're not sure what's wrong.  He's just acting tired, and wheezing some.

He isn't a young pup, of course.  He's been with us for over ten years.  And he's always had a heart murmur.  The original vet who saw him said Marty'd be lucky to see his fifth birthday.

We'll be taking him to the vet this evening.

~~~Vibes for Marty!!~~~
I think some (if not most of you) know the story about the fairy friend I had when I was a child.  She knew my Dad and she brought those ice cones made out of marshmellows.
They always came out of my ears.  :)
