...And it would have to take negative ratings for CBS to drop the Tony's from their line-up.  I've just always sensed that "they" know it's never gonna win the overnights, and since it's just one night a year, well... The financial loss is not that big a deal.  Besides, most of the production costs for the ceremony are carried by the Theatre Wing and not CBS, at least as how I understand the arrangement.
