Rehearsal is done.  I cut one and a half songs from the second act, and I set the ideas for all the patter.  It's a really nice show.

With all the crap going on in my life these days, it's always nice for something good to occur.  I'm featured once again by my publisher!

http://choralicious.com/YRMblog/

You can actually look at some pages of music.

For most of the other featured composers and arrangers, they have a picture.  For Larry's piece, they have...a Virgin.

What's wrong here?    ::)

Seriously, DR elmore3003...nice going!   :)

A few moments later the sky clouded over and it started to drizzle. With much effort, and another rest stop, I got us to the back door of the market loading dock when Noah's storm hit with a vengeance - I love huddling on a stairway under a metal roof while the lightening flashes all about >:(

I tied Fletcher to a railing to go see what was up with Woody. It seems a co-worker had called in saying she would be delayed, so Woody was on indefinite hold. I went back and fetched Fletcher and took him to the store front to wait.

Fletcher waited patiently:

And then waited less-patiently:

And then gave up!

Woody was released at 4 PM

Don't forget to get those Father's Day cards in the mail!  :)

My gosh, can you imagine how many Daddy Day cards MBarnum must send out?

Please don't make light of Larry's baby picture! I bet you have one taking a bath in the sink!

I definately turn it on for THE FULL MONTY.  I can't understand a bloody word they say in the first half of the movie.

Did you guys understand anything we said when we visited the NW.

"The Full Monty" was a very successful film here and would have sold so many DVDs. (The musical on the other hand - lost big bucks - I think because the movie had been so BIG with the punters here).

Of course I need captions on when I look at the NW production of "Scrooge".
(OK that's not true).

For some reason we don't celebrate Fathers Day until the first Sunday in September.

Yes I know I left out the apostrophe. I'm using "Fathers" as an adjective.

Wasn't Maria an apostrophe in the Abbey?

We're going to see "Driving Lessons" today.  It has not been reviewed well, but it does have Julie Walters and her son Ron Weasley.

DR Edi--I looked on the First Run website and couldn't find it.  Am I not looking in the right place?

It's not up yet, and I'm not sure when it will be (it's not available until August, anyway...) but I think if you link to Amazon from our site we get a kickback.

I forget what the whole process is called, but if anyone puts a link to buy our film on their site, they will get the same kickback. It wouldn't be a logical fit here, but for example, if HHW had a link to it they would get a return...probably not much, but if enough sell...

I'll try to find out more details from our webmaster.

Oh, and I think it would have to be linked from OUR website:
www.willowpondfilms.com for it to count towards us.

You did know that Glynis John was a woman?

Not to be confused with Glyn Johns, the famous record producer!

Sorry to hear that, DR TCB. My own back problems were helped greatly by the addition of magnesium supplements. Two excellent books on the subject of magnesium: The Miracle of Magnesium by Carolyn Dean, MD (very easy read) and Mildred Selig's book (can't recall exact title). Selig is considered the expert on magnesium. I found both books on Amazon.

Hope you find some relief!

TCB, they might be worth trying.  I found them helpful for a chronic problem I have, but the pills are too darn large for me to swallow (had to chew them :P) , and they tend to bother my stomach.

Feel better soon.

RE closed captioning on DVDs:  DH Richard and I have become very dependent on it!  My book group ladies were very surprised when I used it for our viewing of Vanity Fair a while ago.

We should use them. ;D

They had onstage audience seats for students when EQUUS was on Broadway in the 1970's.  Got to see Richard Burton really close, an exciting perfromance.
