And then waited less-patiently:

And then gave up!

Woody was released at 4 PM
der Brucer
Yep, finally released two hours after I was supposed to get off work.
My schedule gets crazier and crazier.
I was originally supposed to have today off. Nope, schedule got changed, today was added, they needed someone to watch over the self-checkout lanes.
I have tomorrow off.
Thursday, I was supposed to go in at six AM. That got switched - the gal who works the night shift has to have some time off for family business, so I'm going in at
four in the morning! (I expect that der Brucer will still be up at that hour, so he can get me up and drive me to work.)
Friday is more normal, a six hour shift.
But for Saturday, I've been asked to come in another couple of hours early, covering for another checker who will be out.
This brings me up to a 44-hour workweek.
This is what we call semi-retired.
