Pogue, I like where I left Benjamin.  However, the short story Maddie is basically a Kritzer story with a differently named protagonist.

I thought so.

Perhaps a Subway Club, although that's pretty "blah."

I have difficulty walking into a Subway store, the smell makes me sick.

And I remember when the last book was released, walking through Central Park and people were curled up on benches, on the lawn, sitting on the rocks, all reading Harry Potter.  I'm betting there will be a similar scene in a few weeks.

I confess, I've never read a Harry Potter book or seen a Harry Potter movie

Wow I didn't know that the voting was by couple this time around on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE....scary if you get stuck with a dud partner the first couple of weeks.

How is Sherlock enjoying his monkey?

Classic Broadway sounds great....and I forgot to say yesterday, it sounds like a great release!

To read a book?  Sadly, a lot of people feel that way about theater.

LOL....to read more than ONE Harry Potter book.....I leave it up to your discretion....

Theatre....I have always thought that people have been subjected to so much BAD theatre, that sometimes it's too much of an effort to take the chance, or spend the money.

BUT then there are the nights - and it could be in any kind of theatre...anywhere - that magic strikes you, everything works, and you are touched as you never can be touched by a movie or television show.  AND that is why they also keep coming back....

Jrand there isn't much Sherlock doesn't enjoy eating.  He loves popcorn, even dropped the monkey at the store once he realized we had popcorn (the pet store has free popcorn by the exit).

He bcarried the monkey into the house and then ignored it while he napped (it was a big day out, including a trip to the dog park).  Once he woke up he played with it for awhile.

I am sleepy....I went to a few sessions, but celebrated flag day and my divorce anniversary by getting a Sedona Mud Body Wrap at the Spa here. It also included a reflexology foot massage and a scalp massage while I was wrapped up.  My skin is soft, I am relaxed and I could care a less about most everything :)   I had a great grilled grouper for dinner.

I must say, the biggest Marriott in the world is too big for me and 3000 people at a conference is total chaos.  But I'm learning a few things and enjoyed relaxing today, very much

So - is the Harry Potter talking book available on the same day that the book is published?  And if so, does that mean that Jim Dale and his sound engineer know how it all ends ahead of the rest of us?

DR Singdaw - we've been seeing more and more simultaneous print and audio releases.  Here's a

great interview with Jim Dale

about his recordings of the Harry Potter books.

This morning I met and talked to my only competition in Sioux City. He told me that he is indeed glad that I will be practicing immigration law. He is really new and wants someone to run things past etc.  The first thing he said to me is "I want you to know I don't consider you to be the competition"  LOL,  I know what he means, but it doesn't mean I won't be trying to get all the clients I can possibly get.

DR Cillaliz - your day sounds glorious.  I could use some pampering like that - wonder if I could find some at the library conference that I'm going to in Washington, DC, in about 10 days?

Well it is a resort and spa    ;D

I went to 4 sessions today...tomorrow and Saturday are the sessions I really want to go to, and I decided to do something at the Spa. I'd never had a body wrap before.  It was ok and my skin does feel really good and looks healthier, but I prefer massages.

I did manage to spend more than I intended on law books, but what they heck, they were books I've been looking at for some time and I had a chance to talk to the authors about them, but  I'm done talking to vendors.

LOL, DR JRand!  We got the most stringent guidelines I've ever seen for this year's conference.  While the reimbursement amount for which I'm eligible to apply will help, it won't come close to covering the entire cost of the conference.

DR Cillaliz - hope you were able to arrange to have them shipped and won't have to carry them on your flight home!

LOL! I bet you're right.  He took over a few cases from another lawyer, but this is his first conference.  He hasn't sent out announcements, I only know a couple people in town who've ever even heard of him.   So, no, I don't think he'll be competition   ;)
