I think our largest birds are the California condors, which I have yet to go up to see this summer.

Ah, Laura, wouldn't those have to be Arizona condors?

I am still waiting on the people approving the minutes. My deadline with the District is tomorrow. I have sent a reminder, plus the document again.

I’ve noticed a pair of cardinals here in my yard.  I want to put some seed out for them but I just haven’t been able to remember to pick up some at the store.  I don’t know when I’d have time to put it out either.   :(

I hope to see some cardinal babies.   :D

I once saw a couple of cardinals at the Vatican, but I never counted on any cardinal babies!

I've seen quite a few juvenile birds around lately, begging their parents for food. Not unlike humans.

Well, I've got to scoot.   I'm tired and I want to be somewhat rested for that stress test.

Goodnight and vibes to all who need them that I missed.  I'm sorry I'm not up with things.  I hope everything will calm down soon.  Like by Christmas.  ;)

~~~Test Vibes for Danise!!~~~ (and welcome back!)
I have so much going on right now, so much paperwork/phone calls/running around town trying to get things taken care of/trying to get her room done AND trying to work at the same time.  I'm also working overtime when ever I can to make time up since I don't have any time left on the books so I can go to these doctor appointments and take care of my Mom's business.  I honestly wish I had some time to take off.
You have no idea.  All I can say is Oy!  :-\
I wish I could donate some of my sick leave to you!  (I have accrued over 1100 hours!! ;D) We can donate vacation time to other library employees, as long as the donator's accrual doesn't go below 60 hours.  But, we can't donate ANY sick leave...and we can't buy out any sick leave when we retire.  State employees can buy out 25% of their sick leave, but we can't.  We're a special county taxing district.
Thank you for the kind offer anyway.  If I belonged to sick plan A, I would have the same kind of "bank" to draw from but I'm in sick plan "B" and we don't have that.
We get Short Term Disability after 14 days which the plan "A" people don't get.
1100 hours?????  I have eight.
I've been told that there are a couple of people who have over 3000 hours of sick leave built up!  We can only accrue a maximum of 240 vacation hours, but there is no limit to sick leave.  I only have about 90 hours of vacation right now, and I've only had over 100 hours once...and that was just last year. ::)
Back from a long day at Vinnie's but we managed to finish Susan's CD, so that's great.  I really thought it would take at least two days, but Vinnie's pre-mixes were very good and I only had to do a little futzing here and there (just piano and voice, so it's not hard), and he'd followed my road map perfectly, so I didn't have to fix any of the editing - I just did some additional smoothing out on the patter.  So, I'll have a copy tomorrow, Susan can listen and give whatever notes she likes, and then early next week we'll convene at Vinnie's and, if there are any notes from her or me, we'll do them, plus we'll record a the prelude to a little hidden track.
Actually parts of today have been totally surrealistic, some of which had to do with Kritzerland.  I check the balance in the account once or twice a week and so am always aware what's in there.  Well, when you hear the balance (I'm always a couple of months behind in balancing out statements because I don't do that, someone else does) you assume that's what you have in the account.  Well, someone I wrote a check to in March didn't, as it turns out, deposit the check until one week ago.  Well, that plays havoc because suddenly money I thought was there isn't there anymore - luckily it was all fine, but that sort of thing freaks me out, let me tell you that.
