I'm surprised that it was light enough to even take any pictures!

Weren't we speaking of David Caruso the other day? This is hilarious:

Very funny.  Caruso seems to be doing radio promos for mystery theater episodes.

Mr P only comments snarkily when you jab at Mr. P in your posts.  Mr. P would say nothing otherwise...

Ask BK:
Do you think any of the tv series depicted in The Ratings Game aka The Mogul would actually sell on any of the netwroks or cable channels that have original programing?

I'd say that in today's world anything is possible.  What dates The Ratings Game, of course, is no reality shows - if it were made today, that would be ripe for having fun with.

Q for BK, did you know there are RATINGS GAME clips on youtube featuring the "Sitting Pretty" theme, the "Goombas" theme and others including "Dawn Patrol" which was a Hill Street Blues-like show about garbagemen.

Also, can see BK dressed as a woman in the army in "WACked Out!"

I didn't know  - I wonder why they didn't use all of the clips?

On June 11 I shipped a package to the UK, Dress Circle to be exact.  I got an e-mail from them this morning saying it hadn't arrived.  I went online and tracked the insured Global Priority package - it shows as having left LA the morning of the 12th.  After that - squat.  I got on the phone and finally got a "live person".  He told me the international tracking system was down and I'd have to call back later.  I told him the info I had and he told me, rather astonishingly, that Global Priority didn't provide day-to-day tracking and that the package takes four to ten days.  I told him that I was getting off the phone to save him from a proper harangue and that I'd be calling back later when the system is up to speak to a supervisor.

These stupid yokels raise their rates two years running and the services get WORSE?  Last package, which was shipped to Dress Circle via standard air post, certainly had day-to-day tracking line because I used it.  Now, packages of a certain wait automatically go Global Priority, which is supposed to be a better and faster service - uh huh.  Thankfully, the package is fully-insured, and I do hope they don't think I'll be waiting much longer to collect.

After the "underpants" incidents, however, you can't go back to those same nice places twice.   ;)

I'll bet the oddest knight was Sir Real.

And let's not even talk about Sir Cumcision.

Hi folks!  I’m home and in-between tests.  Don’t get to close because I’m radioactive!  No joke—I was injected with some kind of radioactive material that needs time to work it’s way though my system and then I go back for more pictures.

I had to work the treadmill while I was there.  I’m pleased that I didn’t have to ask for them to stop the test.  I managed to walk, fast walk and then run through the whole ten minute test.

I have to go back in about an hour.  I stopped off at the bank to take care of a few things.

Oh and when I got home I had a bit of a surprise.  The Death Certificates finely came.  The rub is the envelope they were sent in was totally OPEN.  I ordered 7.  There was 6 inside.  Now the question is, did they send me the wrong amount or was one taken.

I called the funeral home to let them know because my paperwork said I definably ordered 7.  Now I’m worried.

Hey, DR Danise!  Glad that the test is going well for you.  And lucky you--getting to go home!  I had to stay at the lab and watch Rachel Ray and read year old copies of Real Simple magazine while waiting for the dye to work its way through.

Hi right back at ya, DR Dan (the Man)!  They don't have a very big waiting room so I guess that's why they want people to leave and come back.

I wonder which song DRs have the most recorded version of in their collections.

I remember Michael Shayne compiling versions of "Send In The Clowns".

I've done Cds of Ebb Tide and Volare (for MBarnum) and more recently, "Begin the Beguine".

My next collection may be "The Shadow of Your Smile"

I think it's a tie between "Love Changes Everything" and "With One Look".  A long time ago, compiling different versions of songs was exciting, now... well, not so much :)

I'm thinking someone realized there were only six, left the envelope open until the seventh one was ready and that someone else mailed it thinking it was good to go.
