I'm certain hearing you say this is why Vincent painted the crows in the wheat field.
The stars in my eyes influenced him too.

And of course DP Colin has had part of one ear surgically removed.

Well, of course, then.....THAT surely explains a lot.

Not that poor old Vincent could have heard it.

And on that note (e-natural), I'm off to Seattle.  I'm going to a Seattle Storm women's basketball game.  I hope they win! :)

I could blame DR Jose's jobbing jogging for the broken bridge at Avignon - but I won't. It wasn't Vincent's fault either.

Ron, I saw you were playing cards with some natives last night. Zulus?

If anyone is to blame, it's the cookie maker at Levain's.

Have I missed something?

S. Woody's last post was four days ago.

Der Brucer's last post was three days ago.

Do you suppose they both fell and can't get up?

(Does anyone know what's up for real?)

Thank you, Ron, I meant to ask that same question last night.  I don't remember them saying that they were going away.  Does anyone have a phone number "for the boys" (a Bette Midler reference)?

Certainly far better than that Scotsman who is making so many $$$$ from attacking the Great American Songbook. (Nilsson's work was so much better).

Good Evening!

What a nice treat is was playing through the score for A Chorus Line on a real piano (again)!  Even if it was a sort of rickety upright with a few sticking keys.  It was just so nice to play that piano part on a real piano - some of those figures are just so pianistic, and you need the "feel" and "bounce" of a real piano keyboard to make some of those passages "work".  :)

Today was one of the first rehearsals for an upcoming replacement - the new Al.  -The old, Al, Tony Yazbeck, is heading over to City Center to play Tulsa in the upcoming LuPone Gypsy.  Great dancer and singer, and a good guy too.  -And, yes, cute too!  ;)

...And on a break, I headed down to the deli on the corner.  It's one of those typical NY deli/foodbar/sandwich bar set-ups.  However, while looking at the salad bar, I noticed things like a chickpea salad, a roasted beets and garlic salad with walnuts, roasted cauliflower and fennel, and a few other Mediterranean meze.  I sampled a bit of this, and a bit of that, and it was all pretty darn good!  And very fresh too.  And since most of those items were on the "light" side, I didn't go into sticker-shock when I put my container on the scale at the counter.

Back from rehearsal - I did basic blocking for almost all the first act - we'll do the rest and act two tomorrow, then I can start doing the detail work.

I have never tried that.

Or you could also try sprinkling them with shredded cheddar cheese during the last couple minutes in the oven, and then serving them with salsa.  -Or with shredded mozzarella and tomato sauce.  :)
