or Mary Poppins' Mrs. Banks.

Well, clearly you haven't seen MP since Rebecca Luker's playing the role and it calls for some legit singing.

This is a tapestry of justice! I don't want to see Holly hunter.  I want to see a repeat of the extremely crazy episode of THE CLOSER I just laughed my way through.

Here is one of the feral kitties at the church that got me into trouble a while back. We call her "Oh, Aren't You Cute" because, well, because she is so cute.

No I haven't

I guess I was thinking more of Glynnis Johns in the role.

Good Evening!

I ended up getting caught up in the CNN/YouTube Democratic Presidential Debate.  Quite an interesting, informative and entertaining(!) two hours plus of TV.  I really liked the format, and the creativity of some of the questioners was, well, creative.  It will be interesting to see how the Republican one goes in September.

On a personal note, I didn't think that Anderson Cooper looked that hot tonight.  However, John Edewards was appealing.  ;D

LOL! I was just quoting this line to my DH at dinner!

I got home in time to see SAVING GRACE. Just heard Cowboy Troy on Grace's radio!

Re: Cindy Williams

Curtains is also a possibility.

But don't rule out Momma Morton in Chicago

or Mary Poppins' Mrs. Banks.

Longshots:
Morales in A Chorus Line
Fantine in Les Miz
Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys

Anything available in Legally Blond?
and what about Mama Mia are the roles something Miss Williams can do?

As DR elmore stated, there's no way that she would be right for Mrs. Banks in Mary Poppins.  Just listen to the OCR.  However, she could possibly be right for the maid or the "evil" Nanny, but that would all depend on her English accent.

The Longshots are definitely longshots.  ;D

And there's really nothing in Legally Blonde either.

As for Mamma Mia!, there's a remote possibility that she could play Tanya or Rosie, but, again, those are very remote possibilities.  The producers of Mamma Mia! are against stunt-casting.  They prefer to hire "actors" rather than "names".

Now, there is "The Adult Women" in Spring Awakening.  And it would be fun to see Cindy Williams in a corset... While a young schoolboy buries his face in her bosom.  ;)

My first thought was Drowsy Chaperone.  I don't see it being Curtains.

I don't see it being Curtains either.  There's no way Debra Monk is leaving that show in the next six months.

Whenever I'm asked what my fabulous life is like, I say it's much like "Ben-Hur" with a dollop of "Follies"...no, there's no delapidated theater about to come down,  and there isn't a chariot race, but if could figure out a way to work them in, I'm certain I'd go that route.

And you just wouldn't believe HOW MANY people ask me about this.

I'm simply amazing.

ROTFLOL. DRRON, I'm so glad you're back!

My opinion, for what it's worth (which is absolutely nothing): Price is Right should retire with Bob Barker.

I suspect you have some company, Laura.

Meet my new neighbor -- Jean-Pierre. Eight weeks old. He lives across the street.

His owner is the 16-year-old girl, who bought him with the money she made selling tans at a tanning salon. In Arizona.

Jean-Pierre is adorable. I used to go to a hairdresser named Jean-Pierre. That wasn't his real name, but he really played up the French part, which was very good for business. "Ohoooo, I go to Jean-Pierre."

But I'm confused about the "selling tans" part. She promoted the tanning salon, maybe by showing off her own tan? Please explain, Laura.

DR Cillaliz - did you get my email this evening?  And did you receive a snail-mail from me earlier this month?  I'm not sure either address I have for you is correct.

Yes, I got the snail mail, I believe I mentioned it online the day I got it. And I got the email too, I've been checking some of them out, sorry I didn't mention it. There are some B & Bs that don't look too bad. Sorry I forgot to acknowledge it

I've got to figure out whether I'm going to be able to go or not.

They did a very nice job at this Barnes & Noble... I should have taken more pictures

they ahd teamed up with a local Art Camp and the kids had made hundreds of  paper candles ehcih were hung from the ceiling on clear nylon  thread gving the appearance of floating like the candles in the Great Hall at Hogwarts ... they had magicans and tattoos  (lots of teenagers getting the Dark Mark!! LOL)

and face painting , wand making , a "potions" class, trivia contsts and about half the people were in costume
