I'm uncertain what to do about the justified or ragged right issue. The justified looks neat and all, but it's doing that thing I hate, putting spaces between words that are spacier than should be - I don't know if it's the way Grant did it, or if I'd have to live with it, and I won't live with it because it's gross. The ragged, like all my other books, isn't as neat, but there's something about it that I like (although I haven't been able to find one other book in my collection that has a ragged right) - it's different, and the spacing is, of course, perfect. I've asked Grant about the spacing problem - if he gives an answer that makes sense, then I'll go with that, but I'm not going to proof further until I know. The ragged version probably has virtually nothing else to correct, whereas the justified version has introduced some bad breaks, etc. and has to be proofed completely and carefully.
