I guess "asking" was the wrong word to use -- thank you for hoping he's doing well ..

Oh you poor guy.  How often do you have to have them?  Keith is now on a four year schedule.  I hope you are ok.

My dad died from colon cancer and I've had polyps (benign ones!) removed twice; my next visit should be in 2010! Last time I went, the reception desk forgot I was in and me, being so patient, waited for almost 2 hours! (I was 30 minutes early!) The doctor was kind of mad at me because he thought I was late!! They had phoned my place and, of course, I was at the clinic! I told him that, instead of giving me a "lesson  in living" he should better make sure that the clinic employees were to be more professional! It's true that, for once, I had been more than patient! It was around Xmas time and I guess the front desk old bag, who was so good at bossing other patients around (I told the doctor that I was a patient... patient!!) thought I was part of the Xmas tree decorations since I was seating next to that tree!

Then they messed up with my bill and it took months to fix their mistake and me going back to the clinic to fix it good!
Don't you love my stories?!

Jane, I've heard you should eat some yogurt -- the kind with the active bacteria -- after a colonoscopy to help get your stomach back to normal.

Did you take naughty lessons from DR Jose?  ... That's a silly question -- of course, we all know Jose is to blame!

I was stupid today. I didn't pre-hydrate myself before going dragonfly hunting and let myself get too hot.

He's doing great (that's why my dream was such a nightmare) -- he just owes DR ELmo a thank you.  Thanks for asking!

The little shit just sent me a lovely apology, several dozen roses, a box of Godiva, and a subscription to LIFE.  I guess you put the fear of God into him!

I hope you took along some sherpas to drag back the critters for you.

DR FJL ~ Did you see the article on the internet last night about the little squirrel who would run into the candy store and carefully take the foil off these little chocolates that had a toy inside, eat all the chocolate, and then take the little toy away with him?  I just laughed -- the little squirrel's initials were, get this, FJL !!   I swear that is a true story, all of it ...

(except there was no name or initials -- the little critter was just called "Squirrel" in the story -- but it did sound like something you would do ... wink, wink!)

Silly you! I ALWAYS pre-hydrate myself... whenever I go dragonfly hunting! I learnt that in school! Haven't you?!
Pre-hydrating is a must! ;) :D

BUT remember: for us, you're never too hot! :o ;)

DR Laura I did eat some goats milk yogurt, easier on my stomach, with a little granola.  I also take primadophilus pills every day.

DR François, I very glad you are ok & you are a prime example of why Edi should get the test done. :)

When I was 18 I  sat in a doctor's office for over an hour while the woman at the desk completely ignored me.  Thanks to you I now appreciate the experience at such a young age. ;D  Yes, I do love your stories.

I hope Cason's sweetheart does not read this!! ;)

(I don't think she'd care about the Life subscription though!)

Oh, definitely! And the new mixture is much better and does not have to be taken so many hours before anymore! Oh yes, yes, yes! Do the test!
(I still don't get a commision on that DR TCB! ;))

Oh -- don't I sound like Jose?! -- and the process is not painful at all! It is just like having a nap! Really!

Why I prefer to walk in the mornings, so I don't have to worry about pre-hydrating ;D  When Bryan was in high school I went for a walk late in the afternoon without eating or drinking much during the day.  About half way into the walk I realized I wasn't going to make it home.  This was before cell phones & I had to wait until I found a woman outside her house to call home for me.  She had a portable phone (wasn't about to let this strange person into her house) & I called Bryan to collect me.

What mixture did you take?  Mine was the same horrid sodium stuff, only taken in two doses instead of one big one.

I now forget but it's not the salty stuff anymore; does not taste that great but is not so hard on the stomach as it used to be!

But boy, does that take us to the bathroom more than we'd like! Maybe a new drink they've started here; it's over 2 years now and I guess I want to forget about it! Let's say it's the only bad moment of the procedure and it can be handled easily by most!

(I guess FifiLePew is very ... religious! ;))

I had the option of a new drink, less disgusting & upsetting, only I had to drink 4 liters of it & I wasn't sure I could manage that.  Next time I will try something different.

I think that all I need to do is go get some cash from the ATM and that will be that.  Everything is in the suitcase and now I can just relax for the rest of the day and evening.  As I said, the notes are going up at ten so I can get enough sleep.
