Matt H-What is the name of the sci-fi anthology series?

I can't remember the exact name of the show (it's a very generic title, not memorable). All I know is that it's on ABC tonight at 10 p.m. In tonight's story, Judy Davis plays a psychiatrist and Sam Waterston an amnesiac. Just the cast alone would make me want to watch it.

I began my afternoon of viewing by finishing the "making  of" documentary on THE LOOKOUT DVD. Interesting info on casting and location scouting; they filmed in Manitoba to save money and becuase it resembled Kansas where the movie takes place.

I knew I had two episodes in the MOONLIGHTING box set (seasona 1 and 2) to watch, so I put them in next.

The first episode had to do with a man who thought his wife had died, so he paid hit men to kill him asking only that he be given a week to get his affairs in order. 48 hours before he was slated to die, he saw his wife walking down the street, so he sent word by David and Maddie to stop the hit men before they got to him. They were assured he'd be spared, but then the man gets blown up in his car, so David and Maddie go looking for the killer.

Pretty good episode, but the resolution with the killer was absurd.

The last episode of season 2 guest starred Whoopi Goldberg as a con woman and Judd Nelson as a bounty hunter who was after her. No mystery at all really in this episode. Just a funny, silly good time. David Paymer was also a guest star.

Bruce, he sent an e-mail to the casting director, but like Jason, he hasn't heard anything.

Amy, Miss Beverley Humphreys sends you greetings (along with some other new listeners) on this evening's show. My review of Les Miz is broadcast today (about 20 mintues into the show) and then at the half hour mark she mentions all the new listeners from all over the world and that's when she says hello to you!

Off to watch the Blu-ray version of ROVING MARS. Then, THE TOAST OF NEW ORLEANS. I should have time to finish it before MASTER OF SCI-FI comes on.

...And the rest of my auditions went well too.  Lots of great talent called in.

And it turns the people who wrote the music and lyrics are two-thirds of the group "Groove Lily" who've had some success with their holiday show, Striking Twelve.  -They're supplementing, as it were, Randy Newman's "You've Got A Friend In Me".  Good music, and good people.  And the book writer happens to be Mindi Dickstein who penned the book for Little Women.

After the auditions, I met up with DR Jason at Joshua Tree for dinner.  We ended up dining near a group of "kids" from Grease, including Max "Slacker Danny" Crumm.  I went over and said, "Hi", since Alison Fischer and Jenny Powers were there.

-And that concludes today's brush with celebrity.  ;)

DR Danise - Good to see your post, and good to know that you're doing well.  And, again, there is no need to apologize for or explain what you're going through right now.  There may be seven stages of Grief, but there's no timetable for it.

Well, I haven't played the Key 2 book in about two weeks - since the "old" cast was still in.  And since there have been a few edits for the "new" cast, I better look at those.

That's the show my family saw in Fairmont MN last December. They love it. Groove Lily had a one night show with in there, for some unknown reason

Back from the NYPL.  I've just heard that the 2008 NY Firefighters calendar has been junked because the coverman has been frolicking on a "Guys Gone Wild" video showing too much of himself to the world.  Why this has embarassed the NYC firefighters is beyond me.  I'd think  the publicity would be good for sales.
Is it just his chest that he has shaved?  On the video, do we get to watch?

Or maybe we get to watch him sliding down the firehouse pole!

Keith came in from mowing the lawn, on the rider mower, & asked me to take his shoes off for him.  He still can't bend down easily.  Sweet Goofus decided to help & then take one of the shoes back to his bed with him. ;D
You let Keith ride the mower into the house?   ???

My dad died from colon cancer and I've had polyps (benign ones!) removed twice; my next visit should be in 2010! Last time I went, the reception desk forgot I was in and me, being so patient, waited for almost 2 hours! (I was 30 minutes early!) The doctor was kind of mad at me because he thought I was late!! They had phoned my place and, of course, I was at the clinic! I told him that, instead of giving me a "lesson  in living" he should better make sure that the clinic employees were to be more professional! It's true that, for once, I had been more than patient! It was around Xmas time and I guess the front desk old bag, who was so good at bossing other patients around (I told the doctor that I was a patient... patient!!) thought I was part of the Xmas tree decorations since I was seating next to that tree!

Then they messed up with my bill and it took months to fix their mistake and me going back to the clinic to fix it good!
Don't you love my stories?!
You waited nearly two hours for the doctor to look at your ass?  He must have an amazing bedside manner!

Der Brucer is watching FoxNews.  They're talking about autoeroticism, I think.  I'm not exactly sure why.

The thought of Bill O'Reilly and autoeroticism doesn't scan.
