I've made chili for dinner tonight.  I cubed a piece of beef that is normally used for pot roast, added the other ingredients, and then popped it into a very low oven and decided to take a nap.

When I woke up and gave the chili a stir, the beef just fell apart into wonderful little shreds.  This is going to be yummers to the max.

I think I'd better toast some garlic toast, to go with the yummers chili.

You let Keith ride the mower into the house?   ???

Ha, ha! ;D

Later Goofus got hold of the other shoe & rushed passed us to his bed in the bedroom.  He looked so cute.  I just told him to take it to Daddy & the sweet boy did just that. :)

Bruce, he sent an e-mail to the casting director, but like Jason, he hasn't heard anything.

I hope Ant & Jason are able to audition.

Continued NYMF vibes to Julie, FJL, Noel, bk and all our current and hopefully future cast members. And to DR Jose and his Happy Fingers!

Thanks!  ;D
We had a production meeting earlier this evening, and things are looking very good.  It's all coming together quite nicely.  I'm so glad that so many people on this board will be coming to see the show.

This is a BIG week for our boys, the human ones.

Craig has his first finals in grad school.  He did well on his two mini courses.  If he does well on the rest of his courses, his partial scholarship will be renewed.

Monday Bryan takes his MCAT, the exam for medical school.  He needs to score extremely high as it is extremely difficult to get into medical school.

This mom is asking for big vibes for Bryan to be healthy, rested & focused, in order to get the high score he is capable of.

You waited nearly two hours for the doctor to look at your ass?  He must have an amazing bedside manner!

 :o

 ;D

Well, I would not put it that way! I waited for almost 2 hours on the colonoscopy day; the surgeon had been late once (Emergency call) and I thought it might have been the same reason, while it just was the front desk Lady (Whose perfunctory talking is "Have a seat; we'll call you!" and who talks down to you if you try to utter anything! She has to deal with senile people most of the time, I guess!) who had completely forgotten about me!

It's when talking to another lady patient that she told me that she just had the colonoscopy herself with the same surgeon AND her appointment time was after mine!!

Ain't that quite a story you all had to know about?!

Der Brucer is watching FoxNews.  They're talking about autoeroticism, I think.  I'm not exactly sure why.

You mean F*ckNews, right?! :o

...And the rest of my auditions went well too.  Lots of great talent called in.

And it turns the people who wrote the music and lyrics are two-thirds of the group "Groove Lily" who've had some success with their holiday show, Striking Twelve.  -They're supplementing, as it were, Randy Newman's "You've Got A Friend In Me".  Good music, and good people.  And the book writer happens to be Mindi Dickstein who penned the book for Little Women.

Yes - I saw their holiday show, Striking 12.  Very enjoyable.  They had quite a good run with it.

DR François, I doctor, or his staff might have attempted to announce your name in the waiting room when they couldn't locate you by phone.

That front desk deals with a lot of outdoor patients for different specialists; the fact is, the surgeon did check with the desk and was told I HAD NOT SHOWN UP yet!

Mister Cellophane should have been my name! ;)

Oooh, let me add that the waiting area is in front of the reception desk and the Lady could see me all the time! I even helped her with a rude taxi driver that came to pick up a patient!

Mr Cellophane, I tell 'ya!

Went to the Saturday market this morning with my mom, my sister Sue, and former sister in law Debbie (she was married to my oldest brother Jack)...we looked at lots of stuff and bought veggies and fruits and then met Debbie's daughter Mikela at McGrath's FishHouse for lunch.

The weather was just perfect for the outing!

Danise, it is always wonderful to hear from you. Vibes for success with the sleeping contraptions! From what DR Jason says it sounds like it should be a very positive experience all around.

So, I went to see Skip's show this afternoon at 59E59, and wow, he is a really talented composer.  His music was beautiful.  The show itself is four short unrelated plays; two before intermission, two after.  The last two plays were especially good.  Skip's play, the final one, was the real treat because Skip was playing piano live for the show, and the music and lyrics are just so well integrated into the story.   A great afternoon.
