Back from a jog and boy are my arms tired.

I walked up to the jogging path then jogged from 52nd to 30th and back to 40th at which time I thought it a good idea to stop - that's about a mile and a half, and I walked briskly all the way back home.

I'm still thinking of pizza.

Heard from my pal Alex Rybeck who invited me to see Penny Fuller on her opening night at the Metropolitan Room, so I'll be doing that on Wednesday night.  What fun.

BK - Hopefully, that'll work out perfectly with Penny fuller's show starting at 7:30 on Wednesday.  

Milla's 6 p.m. set at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Center on Wed. willl be over by 6:35 at the very latest, and you wouldn't need to hang around for the CD signing.

Barnes & Noble’s Any Wednesday celebrates the best in jazz, cabaret and theater performers by inviting Milla Ilieva, whom BroadwayWorld.com’s Michael Dale describes as “on her way to joining the ranks of cabaret royalty,” to celebrate the release of her debut CD “Taking A Chance On Love” on Bruce Kimmel’s prestigious Kritzerland label in the spacious third floor events space at the Lincoln Triangle Barnes and Noble at 66th and Broadway in New York City on Wednesday, September 5. These TV ads for Randy Quaid in LONE STAR LOVE have done little to encourage me to buy tickets.  Finally, yesterday I got a notice from Playbill about the opening of the prodcution in Seattle on September 8.  They were kind enough to mention that in addition to the top-billed Mr. Quaid, the show also stars Robert Cuccioli and Clarke Thorell.  On March 26, 1997, I saw Mr. Cuccioli in JEKYLL AND HYDE; and on March 29, 1997, I saw Mr Thorell in the first preview of TITANIC.

Funny thing about that is, Lone Star Love wasn't even a new musical back then.  It was "announced" for Broadway in 2000, which shows you what "announced" really means.  I saw the show in 2004, and felt it was labored and long.  The plotting of Shakespeare's comedies needs to be tweaked for contemporary audiences ... Like what Sammy Buck did for Like You Like It.

Of course, when the writers of one of the NYMF shows, is mourned as a victim of the early days of AIDS, well, "new" gets redefined every day, don't it?

I'm very much looking forward to meeting WFO, Vixmom, but Such Good Friends doesn't have an 8 PM show on the 30th.  

It's quite possible I've not been diligent enough in making sure the DRs have the info about my show.  I'll try to remedy this here:
