DR BEN thanks for the CD that arrived last Saturday.

Saturday! Wow, sometimes those clerks are so far off. When I mailed it (on Saturday Sept. 1st) she said it would be there Tuesday the 4th. Glad you weren't holding your breath.

I just finished Draft No. 1 of the guidelines, sent the file to a colleague to peruse and printed out a copy for me to proofread.  I'm thinking about a teeny nap before I begin today's Brain surgery.

Probably in Miss Karen's costume closet.

11 shopping days until Miss Karen's arrival.

So much to eat, I mean buy, so little time.

I woke up feeling very cruddy today but thought I'd tough it out and go to Sioux Falls to visit the client I need to see there.  I went to the office and here came Nadia...also sick and not looking well at all.   I made the executive decision that we would wait to go to Sioux Falls until Monday.

I came home to check on Callie who had been acting funny last night and this morning.   The poor thing was straining and strainging trying to poop...she was clearly in pain so I took her right to the vet.   Turns out her old problem is back. It looks like she's imacted again. Like she was 2 1/2 years ago.  So she's in the hospital so they can see if they can soften things up. Due to her malformed bone structure it took them 9 days in the hospital last time. I'm really hoping it isn't that bad now.  They were planning to sedate her and will call me later today. Poor thing.  We've done the meds twice a day every day for 2 1/2 years and it worked up until now. I'm really worried what we will have to do next.  She's only 5 years old.

A woman I do not know has just contacted me about performing a Jeanette Macdonald/Nelson Eddy medley at an upcoming benefit.

Should I do it?  Will her dress be flashier than mine own?

after 3 people at work told me I look terrible today, I decided to come home and recover.   Nadia made it almost until noon and asked if she could go.

I'm going to try to get some sleep.   With the phone next to the bed, of course, in case I hear from the vet.

I doubt hers will be flashier but probably in better taste.
