I love the poster for DR PennyO's show...did she do the artwork, I wonder?

That is the cover of her book (which all dedicated H/Ks have read) and the art is by Virginia Downs.

Penny's book can be purchased HERE on Amazon.com!

How many papers typically review these Festival productions?

Looks like a nice little house, Danise.

I think it is.  More then big enough for me and the dogs.

The only question would be a job.

Things aren't looking to good for my current one.  They are talking about yet another cut before December as well as the one I told you all about after the first of the year.

I'm not ashamed to say that I'm worried about it.  And if I have to start all over again someplace else my thought is it might as well be in Pittsburgh.

At least I'd be close enough to my folks so I could go and see them from time to time.

I think that's one of the things that bothers me the most since Mom passed.  I want to go by and put flowers on their graves so badly.

It would be a comfort to be close by and if you look at the map of  where that little house, is you will see Mt. Royal Cemetary is not very far from it.

You will enjoy PennyO's show, DR George if you haven't already seen it.

I've got to go as well.  I have to go buy that router or I won't have phone service.  I've been down for two days already.

Laters all!

One of my absolute favorites-- especially peggy lee's version.  Absolutely stunning!
I'll vote for that.

(Ex DR Stuart would not have done so)

That's a cute house, Danise.

Remember that Phoenix is warm, and everything has central AC. And you'd already have a few friends out here!

It finally rained about 1 p.m. -- a torrential downpour. That lasted all of five minutes.

Cute little house, DR Danise!  And remember, Pittsburgh is definitely closer to NYC!  (the house is also about a twenty minute drive from my house).

Scary reading about the stage disasters....well funny and scary (almost a Sondheim reference).

Break a leg again, DR PENNYO

So....I must ask....buttermilk chicken...

Is that chickens raised on buttermilk....chickens boiled in buttermilk...chickens eaten with buttermilk...chicks fried in buttermilk?

I don't know what that is.  How about Diet Pepsi Chicken?

And you mean to tell me ALL of this HHW action is taking place in NYC and there's not one goddamned camera anywhere near ANY of it?

I did turn the A/C back on late this morning, and it has flipped on twice during the afternoon. I'm happy to have it but I hate to have to use it.

Get cool already and stay that way!

I watched another episode of BONES. This was the episode that introduced Agent Sullivam (Sully) to the show and as a potential love interest for Brennan. Booth shot a clown head on an ice cream truck and was removed from active duty until he completed a psych evaluation (preisded over by the marvelous Stephen Frye.)

I then started on the MARTHA GRAHAM - DANCE ON FILM DVD from Criterion. I watched the first two films in the set. The first was a 31 minute introduction to her 11 member company and some short dance pieces done in her dance studio. I loved this section because there were no formal costumes - just these 11 exquisite bodies moving in graceful control across the room in many combinations. Mesmerizing.
