MBarmun-Is is heartwarming to know Scruffy has found a loving home, including a dog companion.  The photo of Bosco with his new cousins is sweet & this new friendship is an example George is still with his loved ones in spirit.  

I’m especially glad to know this event was happening yesterday when we suddenly found ourselves driving through Salem & wishing we had know early enough to make plans to connect with you.

The photo of Bosco alone is beautiful.

I wonder how Merlin and Miss Blue Moon get along?

Glad to see the networks are willing to endure the backlash when they ruin TV watching for millions of people.  If they got the backlash they deserved believe me they would not endure it - they'd take those damn promos and get rid of them so fast it would make everyone's collective headspins.  But, people say nothing, and it's only going to get worse and worse.  No wonder that so many children are ADD - these cretins CATER to the causes.

I missed this item about the backlash. For some reason I can't access the notes but I did figure out how to change the http address in the window to reflect a new day and read that day's posts. I will try and read the actual notes when I get home.

Is it about the pop ups or actual promos? I would be out of a job if they cut the promos!

DR FJL - in preparation for seeing your show next Wednesday evening, DH Richard and I watched the movie Saturday night.

That's the one tape I didn't pack so we could do the same. But I'm not sure if we will habe the VCR hooked up in time, or have time to sit down at watch it. But DH loves the score, so he's familiar with the story through that.

If Keith wouldn't kill me I would take video's of him chasing the turkeys off our property, it is a sight to behold.

Never send DH Keith to do DD Sherlock's job.

The orthopedist prefers to do the physical exam before going over the charts as to keep an open mind.  After examining Sherlock, which involves moving his legs, elbows, etc. into all sorts of uncomfortable positions, the doctor looked up at his assistant with a puzzled expression and asked “what did I do to this dog?”

He couldn’t find anything wrong with Sherlock, no signs of pain or problems flexing-NOTHING.    

The x-rays still tell a different story, exactly what we aren’t sure because the doctor had an emergency that day and was way behind schedule.  The assistant gave us the results with a few inconstancies we will have to discuss with the doctor.

Sherlock is our miracle boy, no one knows why and the doctor requested we return in a year, if all is still well, so he can do a CT & try to find out why.  We will think about that next year.  We just pray there won't be a reason to return before then.

I thought this was pretty amusing, from Playbill's recent "Diva" encounter with Joanne Worley:

"Worley: ... I love the swinging of the pearls. Through the years when I would be doing regional theatre or stock, where you have very little time to learn a show and there would be a very involved dance number, I would say, "How about I [swing the pearls]?" And that would take up several bars of the music that I wouldn't have to learn choreography for. [Laughs.] Of course, it would be character-driven and come out of what was right.

 

Wonderful news about Sherlock DR Jane!!! Maybe he is outgrowing whatever was wrong.

DR Edisaurus is showing up with a Netherlands flag next to her name.  I didn't know that her new house was in Europe!
